Ferg linked the wrong thing, I fixed it.

Yeah I think it's best not to post that much detail. I think anyone motivated could figure it out, but it's not necessary.

Lakikigar spotted that Ilo Ilo (2013) is shown as being on 1 official list, both in ICM regular & Beta, a case that became untrue with the latest BIFF Asia update from two months ago. Shouldn't this take max 2 days to adjust?

Yes, this issue was reported a couple of months ago. I've mentioned it to Marijn. It seems to be specific to that list and only the films that went from 1 to 0 lists.

Have reported this in the official forum but thought others might be interested.

It has always been like that. I forgot about it, I'm always too busy looking at my ranking.
Please fix that bug. I plan to win an Oscar in 2022 and I need everyone to know! :D

Not exactly a “bug” but the FilmTotaal platinum award icon reads “FilmTotaal Top 250” on the awards page, even though the list is a Top 100.

There's no awards page on beta, never has been. The progress page is the only personally curated page on beta.

Well nevermind, I never use the version and just realized that 3 out of 7 shortcuts on the user dropdown menu lead to "an error while handling error" and the link behind your own user name results in an completely empty page just saying "PROFILE DETAILS".
I didn't even know how much of a construction site Beta is. If you ask me, it's embarrassing leaving it like that for many years. But whatever. I just gladly continue using 2.0 and keep that to myself.

Seems the rankings stopped updating again (pretty much since the 500 < 400 update, though not sure if related).

I think the downtime stopped some services that didn't restart.

Yes, it was a planned downtime about 30 or so hours ago. I know search failed to restart, but Marijin just fixed that. Not sure if it was before or after your post. If this is still an issue let me know.

This has been a couple of days already, certainly longer than 30 hours ago. But I'll keep my eye on it, will post again if it's not fixed tomorrow :)

I updated the list on ICM only one hour before the downtime.
Are you talking about the overall rankings? I don't think Marijn has been working on anything ranking related, but he has been working on other things, so it's possible something got messed up unrelated to the downtime.

I'm talking about the list rankings (top users, as ICM calls it). For example, the 500<400 doesn't have updated rankings for ICM users yet, it still shows people's old totals + their old ranking.

But yeah, I suppose those are scheduled actions that might have to be manually restarted after a reboot.

filmSPOT’s Best Portuguese Films list is messed up. There are only 12 films listed on that list right now...

Edit: just saw the discussion in the other thread. Quite a bizarre turn of events, but I have to say this is the spiciest movie list fight I’ve ever seen and it’s pretty incredible that this became enough of an issue for filmSPOT to take “official” action on.

That's really strange. It works on beta:

And I don't see anything that would make it not work on live.

Can confirm. Related to the stance we had with nymets or Nbats or RonJensen (one of those insane link hubs) where we couldn't go to certain pages of their comments?

I doubt it, I assume those were due to something being incorrectly embedded. But there's no description in the list, so I don't see what could be causing it.

The site is called I Check Movies, and right now, I can't check movies.

Edit: It finally went through. Fifth time's the charm, I guess.

Can someone tell me what I'm overlooking here?

The Woman Who Sinned (1991), some cheesy 90s TV drama with Michael Dudikoff, let's just act like I never actively dealt with the existence of this

When I search for tt0103280 - what I always do when possible, using the IMDb-ID, not the title - ICM returns nothing and invites me to add the movie to the database. However, it's already there, findable by its title, with but one check. No extra zeros in my search string or the IMDb link for the existing ICM entry.

Fixed.
There was a bug at one point (maybe several) where the imdb url was imported but the id was not copied into the id field. It's quite rare, but I've seen it before. I can fix these if you find them
