Glad I'm not the only one in this boat. My first thought was "wow, a whole bunch of new Official Checks must have gotten added overnight". :turned:

This seems to be some kind of proletarian revolution where number of official checks doesn’t count anymore and we need to elect new leaders.

OK, I'll admit it, I'm the culprit. It's actually my sophisticated form of a ransomware attack - they're all the rage with the kids these days so why not? - I'm simply demanding that all Neil Breen films be put on at least 43 official lists apiece, and then I'll restore all your silly awards, you foolish little "cineastes".

Whoops, I didn't check this thread before posting about it in Lost and Found. Every user I clicked on is an extra now.

I never would have noticed that, and I don't even recall what my proper "classification" is. Oscar...something? I wouldn't care a lick if that feature was removed.

Since the IMDb site redesign, it appears that updating a mini-series to add the beta "TV-Miniseries" tag no longer works. I wonder if this has stopped working for other tags like "TV-Episode" and "TV-Series" too.

It even may be that updating an item will REMOVE an existing tag.

"tv-miniseries" hasn't worked for a while now, IIRC. It just adds "tv-series" instead. Not sure if that was because of an earlier change or not. I haven't noticed the episode one, though.

Seriously though, that is super weird and I think it didn't happen before. Why would the rank titles of the complete userbase be resetted / nullified? If nothing was changed about that in the code.

It's dumb and should be done away with entirely. Mine never even updated on the charts and said I was an actor, though my profile said lead role or whatever that rank was.

It's strange. Things seemed to be back to normal, then Marijn posted they were aware of the problem, and then people started posting that the issue had returned. No idea what's going on.

It’s back again though, the second change of rank notification (to Extra) simply disappeared.

With the change in IMDb design, it seems like a set of multiple directors won't get imported beyond the first three names.

I imported a new title on Wednesday - so not quite 48 hours ago. I found something in my spreadsheet that isn't in iCM and just added it to the import queue. Couldn't find a message where my Wednesday add was accepted, but after a couple hours I was able to add it to a list. I'll try to remember to keep checking and report when I see it in the database.

edit: so far no luck finding it in iCM - sort of feel like I should be able to search iCM for the tt number by now. Will try again in a few hours.

okay I just added another title to the import queue - this time I was able to select the check so I can also monitor my list of checked titles to see if it hits and boom - it's there immediately - so unless @Melvelet is talking about importing lists or something, it's working for me now. (The prior title isn't available through search yet though I think that's normal, just maybe slower?)

It was reported to Marijn and he found a clog in the import queue that was holding things up. It's unclogged now.
