ICMForum's Little Movie Glossary

Post by outdoorcats » March 21st, 2020, 10:46 pm

If you've ever read Ebert's Little Movie Glossary, you already know what to do.

If you haven't, we're simply making a list of amusing film clichés that we notice, especially in popular movies. Example (here stolen from Ebert): whenever there's a car chase scene through an "ethnic" locale, one of the cars always runs into a fruit cart.

Remember to copy and paste the prior entries before you add to the list.

1. If there's ever a scene of a man shaving or being shaved, he will always cut himself (or be cut by the barber).

[a LION eats GOD. Gunshots ring out. MATT turns around]
MATT: That's the guy I was telling you about.
