Best . alphabetical
Gothika (2003)
Koko-di Koko-da (2019)
Midsommar (2019)

Biggest surprise
Bride of Chucky (1998) - by simply how weird and funny it was. They really went a whole other way after Child's Play 3

Worst . alphabetical
Boo! A Madea Halloween (2016)
Noo 2! A Madea Halloween (2017)
Creepshow 3 (2006)
House on Haunted Hill (1999)

The Nightmare Before Christmas (1993) - 75K checks

"Most popular" movie seen - no rewatches
The Mist (2007) - 20K checks

"Most popular" movie seen - unofficial
Gothika (2003) - 6811 checks

"Least popular" movie seen - official
The Psychopath (1966) - 94 checks (I would recommend this if the movie hadn't by accident shown the reflection of the killer halfway through the movie. Spoiling the end for the observant.

57. Happy Death Day (2017) 7/10

I knew nothing about it going in, but was surprised at how much I enjoyed this film. Glad to be able to end the challenge on a high note!

Oh yes, it was good! And since you liked it, you can watch Happy Death Day 2U as well. It's as good as the first one.

Oh, don't worry, I already have it in the queue! Might just save this one for next year's challenge, but I'm not sure if I can wait that long to see it. :)

It's great to have you back, by the way!

Actually Happy Death Day 2 U would fit well with the sci-fi challenge next year which is usually early in the year.

Happy November! I hope you all survived our horror challenge.

OP should be up-to-date now. Please check and let me know if you see any errors. Also, please consider this a last-call... I'll do a final round-up tomorrow.

Apologies for leaving this final update to the last possible day, Maxwell. My Friday and Saturday were both pretty hectic and full of things to do that didn't involve films. Hope this post makes it through in time...

Thanks for hosting the challenge. Not too many really great films for me but I enjoyed most of those I watched.

Okie dokie. Horror is done and it's too early for me to do a write-up, so here's a quick list of facts:

- 59 players (down 4 from last year)
- 2334 total points (4th most ever, behind only the 2017, 2015, and 2018 horror challenges)
- Average = 39.56
- Median = 21
- Doodiehead award: flavo5000, for ending on 199
- Six players finished the #HUNT
- Three players watched the same actor suffer #DEATH 5 times (albajos doing it twice)
- Five players finished up their #TORTURE
- Six players got at least one #BINGO, with albajos, Daviddoes, and sol blacking out the board.

Losing out on a top 3 spot of all time with 4 points (5th now). But new personal best, congrats!

Top 5
01 301 2012 01 mightysparks
02 211 2017 01 albajos
03 203 2011 01 Cinematiamo
04 200 2015 01 kierkegaardian
05 199 2019 01 flavo5000

I'm also putting together a cumulative table, but I'm guessing mightysparks controls that one too. With 9 challenges there's some catching up to do.

Yea, this challenge was definitely one of those always a bridesmaid never a bride kind of situations. I've gotten second in this one multiple times but never won. Also albajos, didn't you win in 2018 with 206?

I'd think if your watches were within the deadline, max would update the leaderboard.
