I KNEW I recognized that picture.

That drops me to 70, and with sha1tan and several others breathing down my cyber-neck and Cinephage keeping pace about 40 checks above me, I don't think I'll get back to the momentary high of 68 that I had a month ago for some time.

And now he's dark again, so I find myself with an all-time-high rank. And I'm just two checks behind #113 and eight checks behind #112.

I'm actually at all-time high too. While it lasts. Feels like a bomb will go off at any minute though and I'll plummet down the scoreboard...

The tags haven't been updated for at least two weeks because:

"Your rank has been updated from Actor to Lead role 2 weeks 1 day ago"

But my tag is still "Actor" in the ranking

Edit: it's been way longer than 2 weeks: "gulliver's rank has been updated from Oscar winner to Oscar nominee 6 months 3 weeks ago" and it still doesn't show

So there are 72 Oscar winners that can handle the pressure of having an Oscar.

312 Oscar nominees

and 5 walk of famers with JF UK just 5 movies over the line.
with 1 of those 5 about to join the elite 30K check club I once founded.
he or A. or Armo or any

Damn I'm still over 400 official checks away from the next level (Movie Star). As long as no new lists are released in the next year or two I should be good.

It's good that there are many smaller tiers for starters, but the jump from 40 to 70% at the very top is craazy man.
And the numbers might have looked alright in the early days of ICM - easily half? - for today I think even smaller figures such as 3, 5, 10, 15, 22, 35 percent should be considered. Who watches 5000 extra checks on top of more than 6000 .. (5 people did)

Same. I think it just comes down to how many checks you lost on the list. Most folks lost ~100, I only lost around 60 and therefore I rose in the rankings both overall and on the DTC list:

Hm .. I've lost my precious Oscar nominee ranking last night with 4107 official checks; others around me in the rankings with ~4105 also are mere movie stars.
ChrisReynolds has 4117 checks and is a nominee, as is everyone above him.

I used my last extract to compute theses.. Maybe an huge pack of new officials arrived that last week?

Edit ...

Done! File 20210509.txt contains 16474 movie entries (from 212 input csvs).

That's supposed to be 74 more films than the 1rst of may ??

Maybe i messed up something ... Let's see

Ok ..Massive Doubling the Canon Update... Have heard about it but didn't know it was that huge.

Cheated myself back into the nominee rank with 20 of the ridiculously short shorts from the Anthology Film Archives .. I was aware that there were many on it, but like 15% <2 minutes and 50% under 20 minutes, wtf?
If I ever need a quick 100 checks, I'm gonna catch a bag of nachos and watch those Lumiere + Melies 1-minute-"films" for an hour. :P

Concurrently, on the overall rankings this makes me ...

This is an all-time record for me, which could be great news, I'm watching a lot of official movies, yayy !!

But I mostly gained on 2 long time users, Kasparius and Vivaluis, who haven't checked anything on ICM for months, which isn't great news, really. :(

Your image doesn't work I'm afraid.

Kasparius has the weirdest check history since his departure, considering he's .. well, Kas. I have the theory he sold his ICM account to some random popcorn film watcher.

Hi guys, I've had my ICM account for like 2 years (closer to 3) and I've just joined the Forum since I'll be graduating from uni soon and I'll use the free time to watch more movies (mostly classics which I've never seen. I feel so far behind!).

Right now I'm at position #13621, feels so low compared to all of you, but it's alright!
