"Short of the Day" is the daily discussion of a short.

Tasks:
1) Watch.

3) Send me your suggestions for the next Short of the Day per PM, along with links to the shorts and comments, questions for the other users to think about, and/or info about the short.

Invader Zim: Pilot (creator: Jhonen Vasquez, 2004) :ICM: :imdb:

Length: 13 minutes 33 seconds

An animation that inspired David Firth. A TV cartoon, above average in its darkness and eccentricity. Children suspect that one of their classmates is an alien and some crazy science-fiction action of the degree of a child's imagination ensues. Reminded me a little of 'Dead Leaves', from the bits I watched.

I haven't watched this since I was about 13, this is where Billy West voices Zim if I remember and I thought it was kind of flat without Richard Horvitz who is just amazing. Still has the quirky lols as the 'real' show but it's definitely not as good without Horvitz.
