What game(s) are you playing now?

Just realized that we have a book and music version for this but not games. Although it definitely won't be as active as the other 2, no harm in making a thread about it.

I only play like 30 minutes to an hour a week these days but I'm in the middle of Tomb Raider 2 which is very fun, and started The Longest Journey today. The jokes for that game is pretty bad but from what I've played so far I think it might be good.

I have been playing Dark Souls on ps3. Although I have got the platinum trophy for it, I can’t stop playing the PvP aspect of the game!

I actually think if you're watching great movies that are intellectually stimulating, then it's absolutely better. However there are also a handful of games (and actually I think there are more and more of those) that are really very smart and are absolutely not a waste of time (or at least they are as good of a waste of time as a good movie or book)

I actually think if you're watching great movies that are intellectually stimulating, then it's absolutely better. I guess you could also take the argument that through video games you are building a better hand eye coordination. I also read this article that people who play video games are able to process much more info at once than people who don’t play them, granted processing a bunch of info is not always a good thing, as you can’t put your full power into one thing.

To answer the OP, I am playing Uncharted 3. It's pretty good. Not as great as the second one, but a lot better than the first which I found to be pretty mediocre.

I just keep replaying Portal 2 at the moment (I finished it again last night, but I'm sure I'll start it up again soon enough). And playing some community maps. I'm in a mood at the moment where I don't feel like doing anything, but Portal 2 is keeping me happy.

AudioSurf is fun, but it feels kind of pointless after a while I started playing Mark of the Ninja the other day, but need to get back to it. Have also started playing Braid and a little bit of Miasmata yesterday, but it was laggy and frustrating me so I stopped. Also need to get back to TF2, but every time I've tried recently every server I get put into either has no players or is laggy as hell.

I was a game maniac till 7-8 years ago. Favorite games were EA Sports (any game), GTA series and NFS series. Completed till GTA San Andreas and NFS Undercover. Then lots inetrest in games (mostly because of my not-so-up-to-date PC) and become a movie addict. Was never a fan of console games.

Now just occasionally playing EA Cricket 2002 for nostalgic feeling.

I hardly play computer games anymore. I always get a bad consciense when I turn on Football Manager or any other video games, because I know I have a lot of work to do on so many lists.. And I don't get any checks by playing computer games.

The last game I played was Skyrim, which I actually played for some hours. I was mostly because I liked Oblivion and Morrowind.
If I visit friends we sometimes play Fifa, but nothing regular. And also a yearly game of Age of Empires II.

I grew up with a Nintendo 64. I never liked the PS and the Xbox controller was always too big for my hands until the 360 came out and I had bigger hands I would always generally ignore games unless I saw someone playing and thought it looked interesting, so I missed out on a lot of games. I'm catching up with some PC games now, and starting to pay attention to what's popular to try out some different ones.

Oh wow, Mario Kart Double Dash. I had forgotten about that one!

Any version but the Wii's is great. I find the newest one to be way too much based on pure luck than anything else, makes it less enjoyable.

Anyways, to get back on topic: I pretty much only have the time to play games in the bus these days, so I've been replaying the Yu-Gi-Oh handheld games; I just beat Yu-Gi-Oh! The Eternal Duelist Soul (GBA).
