I went from 898 seen to 897, I'm not sure how I will ever recover  Highest unseen is Eden Lake at #300. I'm really happy to see that Host is one of the additions of the 2020s, it really deserves it imo

Went up to 132 checks as already said, ranking is now #10136. Almost top 10k for the zombies.

It's a bit of a slow progress list tho, in terms of gamification, you need to get out of your way to check films (kinda) and there are tons of checks, so you only slowly make progress. Though i like horror, i just haven't seen many lately or haven't focused on it much the last years. Though its very important that it exists for me. Not every list has to be an arthouse one.

So thank you mightysparks for the efforts you put into this list. :worship:

btw, something I already noticed when the update went live .. it felt like the new edition was plotted against me, because almost all titles from the following screenshot of my highest unchecked films have something in common. Can you spot it?
Spoiler

:P
I think I had only 1 title unchecked from the Top 150 (Son of Frankenstein), then a couple more in the Top 200; now I was frighteningly close to lose even a clear Top 100! (D:)
Some of these will have deserved their spots. It's cool to have so much left to see.

Here's a fun trivia:

Friday the 13th is the only horror franchise with every movie featured in the list :turned:

Wouldn't feel bad if it didn't feature any of the Friday the 13th series. Very dull slashers with a dumb lead.

I'm not one to recommend a fan film, but Never Hike Alone (2017) should also be on the list. It's better than nearly all F13 films.

C'mon now guys, don't be so harsh on good ol' Jason!

A non-horror fan doesn't know The Final Chapter is only the fourth movie <_<

I don’t get it myself  and I haven’t even included ‘best sequels’ list in the latest update. People just go mad for franchises.

I’m up to 800/1000 one month post-update. I’ll save most of what’s left for September/October, but my goal is to be 100% done by the end of the year.

The Return of the Living Dead

What a coincidence! I saw your post an hour ago, not recognizing the movie. Just started watching the next movie in my Prime-queue. What do I see when the movie starts? THIS!

How does this list include Winchester and exclude The Texas Chainsaw Massacre?

That's a solid list. The only title I haven't seen is The Field Guide to Evil (2018). I'd quibble about the order, but it's better than most. I would advocate for the addition of...
The Mortuary Collection (2019)
Phobia (2008) and Phobia 2 (2009)
Torture Garden (1967)
Three Cases of Murder (1954)

Yea, I don't really have issues with the list. Although I did wanna point out that Dead of Night isn't the first anthology horror film. That's probably this guy:

Rampo Noir's a glaring omission.

There's also Ten Nights of Dreams, but I get they wouldn't have known about that one. Also a bit weird to have no Hong Kong ones in there, they sure like a good horror anthology over there. Good Take! and Tales of the Dark 2 are my favorite ones, but plenty others to choose from.
