It's not from imdb, it's from a movie poster site whose name eludes me at the moment.
https://www.movieposterdb.com/ I think it was

Thanks
That was crazy fast
But then .. why doesn't it pull the Blonde cover, for example?
https://www.movieposterdb.com/blonde-i1655389
Im Westen has 4 posters, none of which match the wrong one on ICM.
https://www.movieposterdb.com/im-westen ... s-i1016150
Does it go faster for official films?

I don't remember how it works either, but it's not something mods can update, it's something that runs in the background, IIRC.

Haha. Trust me I never looked at this corner of the page for at least 12 years

We're getting closer to the solution.
Then what doesn't the ICM pull like about Blonde?

Im Westen also doesn't nearly match

The number of favorites displayed on my profile page has been wrong for a week at least

Coincidentally, 201 out of my 216 favorites are tagged (with the directors' name and the year etc). I'm just saying that in case that helps finding the source of the bug.

Wish our hardware had a personality like the new Bing. Then we could say, "iCM can't count." Anyway, it's the truth though I'm sure it has to do with what Peaceful explained about subtractions messing things up.

Wow, this is really weird. This just arrived in my mailbox.

My first thought was, "Wow. Maltin got an update?" But I'm batting 100 on these four lists. And the next message in my inbox confirms that fact. So, there's yet another bug in matrix.

If you remove a favourite from your favourites list, it messes everything up. For example, if you have 100 favourites and remove the first ten, your favourites start at 11. Or, if you have 100 favourites and remove the 10th one, your favourites go 1-9 then 11-100.
I had a weird bug on one of last year polls that looked like that... It had several number one...

If I understand your complaint correctly, all you have to do is move one item and the indexing is fixed. If the order of your favorites is important, just move one item and then move it back.
Thanks. Definitely not important, just pointing out bugs like this one.

So you got another message right after giving you back those same awards?
I'm guessing it happened right after you checked 8½?
Are those four lists the only ones that you've completed from the 33 lists that film is on?

I see where you're going -- no, I've also completed Ebert's list, for example, but maybe I interrupted the system removing plats and replacing them.Fergenaprido wrote: ↑Yesterday, 9:30 pmSo you got another message right after giving you back those same awards?

Not really certain about how I feel, especially now, about 'updating' my checks when I rewatch, but at least now I'll remember that this might be the effect of doing such. (So far I've mostly been unchecking/rechecking series when I've completed a new season.)
Thanks!

Wait, so you unchecked the film and then checked it again because you rewatched it? That doesn't seem like a bug, then. It just seems like the insta-awards are working for those lists, and like you said it only had enough time to update those 4 before it registered you checking it again so that's why it didn't happen for the Ebert list. That's my best guess, anyway.xianjiro wrote: ↑Today, 12:25 amI see where you're going -- no, I've also completed Ebert's list, for example, but maybe I interrupted the system removing plats and replacing them.Fergenaprido wrote: ↑Yesterday, 9:30 pmSo you got another message right after giving you back those same awards?

Are those four lists the only ones that you've completed from the 33 lists that film is on?So yeah, that momentary uncheck and recheck caused this and it's NOT a bug in the matrix.

Yup, that's exactly what I'm thinking. I just didn't think that momentary uncheck/recheck would register, so yes, the instant awards system is functioning as desired again.Fergenaprido wrote: ↑Today, 12:37 amWait, so you unchecked the film and then checked it again because you rewatched it? Most of the time anyway. I reached bronze on the BFI 100 American Independent list earlier today and it took over an hour before I was credited with the bronze. I even tried checking an extra film to see if that would nudge it along.
