The number of favorites displayed on my profile page has been wrong for a week at least




Coincidentally, 201 out of my 216 favorites are tagged (with the directors' name and the year etc). I'm just saying that in case that helps finding the source of the bug.

My first thought was, "Wow. Maltin got an update?" But I'm batting 100 on these four lists. And the next message in my inbox confirms that fact. So, there's yet another bug in matrix.

If you remove a favourite from your favourites list, it messes everything up. For example, if you have 100 favourites and remove the first ten, your favourites start at 11. Or, if you have 100 favourites and remove the 10th one, your favourites go 1-9 then 11-100.

If you remove a favourite from your favourites list, it messes everything up. For example, if you have 100 favourites and remove the first ten, your favourites start at 11. Or, if you have 100 favourites and remove the 10th one, your favourites go 1-9 then 11-100.

If I understand your complaint correctly, all you have to do is move one item and the indexing is fixed. If the order of your favorites is important, just move one item and then move it back.

I see where you're going -- no, I've also completed Ebert's list, for example, but maybe I interrupted the system removing plats and replacing them. So yeah, that momentary uncheck and recheck caused this and it's NOT a bug in the matrix.

Not really certain about how I feel, especially now, about 'updating' my checks when I rewatch, but at least now I'll remember that this might be the effect of doing such. (So far I've mostly been unchecking/rechecking series when I've completed a new season.)

It just seems like the insta-awards are working for those lists, and like you said it only had enough time to update those 4 before it registered you checking it again so that's why it didn't happen for the Ebert list. That's my best guess, anyway.

You're also right. I just crossed 90% on Slate's Black Canon but my award didn't upgrade. I have a couple more titles queued up. Will wait to see what happens there, if it doesn't show up in the meantime.
