Share your favorite films who expose religion, deconstruct the fraudulence and root out the faith. Recommend and talk about some gems unknown to the wider audience.
I'll start with Kumaré (2011), in which Vikram Gandhi from New Jersey creates an alter-ego from the title and pretends to be a wise guru who actually came from India. He makes up false chants, false yoga moves and nonsense philosophy yet people bought it. He picks Phoenix, AZ as its base because chances were slim that somebody would have exposed him, then goes to Tucson for a while, only to reveal the true story to his disciples at the end of the film. Cheers!
