Framed Game
1/6 for a movie I haven't seen. I feel pretty good about that.
Framed 1/6 today, I'll take it only seeing the movie once.
1/6 for me as well
And 1/6 on Moviedle, too

Surprised I got 1/6 today. I didn't remember a big boat being in this movie. It was the hat that tipped me off, somehow. Funny how weird small details sometimes stick in your memory.
Same blocho, almost word for word. Turns out that’s quite an iconic look for this character where he can be recognized from behind.

Can’t believe I only just found this thread. I’ve been playing this game most days for a few months now - fun stuff! Even though the movies are pretty much all either relatively recent mainstream fare or widely seen classics that don’t seem to go earlier than the ‘70s. Perfect record still intact

I tried Actorle just now, apparently I am a master of this game.

That was fun. I knew the 1977 movie, but I had to guess the more prominent roles before working myself to the guy who had only one line (one of my favorite actors, though).
This is for the Oct. 5 game, by the way. I got the Oct. 2 game in one guess, though.

It was easy today. Got it on the first frame and I don't even like that movie much...

Yeah, too easy when the first frame is a clear shot of the star of the movie.

I think the person behind Framed is officially out of ideas for what films to choose….today’s answer is
Spoiler
Dumb and Dumber To (yes, as in the terrible sequel that many probably don’t even remember existing).
A member of the CriterionForum has been doing a much more... esoteric version of Framed for a while now. I'm not very good at it.

Even when it's a more well-known film, he'll often pick frames that are intentionally misleading or outright "obscure." And sometimes I just haven't even heard of the movie.
It does helpfully let you know if you're close to the right year or if it's by the same director.
Anyways, thought I'd share in case anyone else wants to give it a try. You can also play previous day's games through the options at the top of the page.

I got today's in four guesses. And I hadn't even seen the movie! Then I got yesterday's in six guesses, and once again I hadn't seen the movie. I guess this is my kind of game.Timec wrote: ↑December 15th, 2022, 5:02 pm A member of the CriterionForum has been doing a much more... esoteric version of Framed for a while now.
