1. Raise the Red Lantern (20 lists)
2. Akira (19 lists)
3. Farewell My Concubine + Shoah (17 lists)
5. Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse (16 lists)
6. The Great Escape (15 lists)
7. Infernal Affairs (13 lists)
8. The Ten Commandments (12 lists...saw all or most of it as a kid)
9.-13. Leave Her to Heaven, The Travelling Players, Still Life, Written on the Wind, The Puppetmaster (11 lists)
After seeing "One-Eyed Jacks" two nights ago, my unseen films on 10+ lists finally fit on one "25 items per page" ICM page.

All the above plus Children of Heaven, A City of Sadness, The Big Red One (why does TCM never show this?), Bullitt, Cyrano de Bergerac (1990), Lagaan (I think Netflix streams this), The Naked Spur (nooooo interest), Center Stage, Tropical Malady, A Better Tomorrow, Yol and Platform.

Haha, 1/5 for Maude.

(I'm actually quite surprised given how you love these kinds of films from Japan)

You'll have to give examples, as I don't really see what kind of films you might be referring to.

All of the more restrained, dialogue-heavy films you enjoy, the most recent recommendation I remember was Daughters.

I don't consider these films very dialogue-heavy though. In fact, one of the things I appreciate about those films is that the characters are often quieter and more introverted :D
And the conversations there are also not as cultural/highbrow as what I got from Maude. I usually find art about art not that interesting.

I haven't been watching a lot of films from the last few years...yet. If you don't count the three I've been saving for special occasions in my top ten, the next three are Dangal (2016), De fem benspænd (2003), and D'Est (1993).
