Ah, ok. Should be fixed now. And that actually bumps you up to tie for 5th!

I know, ha ha. I thought I had a top 5 spot locked up and was planning to be done (I was away visiting vaccinated family for the first time in over a year, didn't have time for a lot of films) when I saw I got passed. Luckily the rest of my family got tired early that night and I had time to slip one last watch in. After being 3rd/4th for most of the challenge I didn't want to slip out of the top 5.

I slept 11 hours after all that.
Afterwards I finished the other non film stuff postponed bc of this challenge.
And then the remains from challenges.
There's a message in one of the Batchelor shorts that women's place is in the kitchen. Actually spelled out in the end.
yeah, it's conservative garbage that should be obscure and is rarely funny but at least gives me a chance to rock those 3s and 4s

here's what I watched in May from the bunch I had lined up in April:
The rest of Ferenc Cako shorts - more sand and stop motion
Ruben Brandt a gyujto (Ruben Brandt Collector) 6/10
Sakasama no Patema (Patema Inverted) 8/10 another anti conservative anime. and looks amazing. i managed to get surprised at the concept when it happened thanks to not knowing what the movie is about.
Ajin (Demi-Human) [3 movies, the last is actually edited from the series] 4-/10 - X-Men? looks bad. starts interesting, then went downhill. too much of normalizing violence. boring chars. bad vibes all around. last film had further editing issues.
Gokiburi-tachi no tasogare (Twilight of the Cockroaches) 8/10

8 films remained in queue
he or A. or Armo or any

Although I'm making fun of it, this actually had a lot of retro charm

12. Beyond the Mind's Eye (1992)
While I'm tempted to claim this one for the ugly CG bonus challenge like frbrown, I think I'll save it for later. But really, this whole thing is 100% '80s cheese. The Mind's Eye series was a big influence on that weird vaporwave trend that popped up on the internets a while back and may be just be too much cheese and chill for me to truly appreciate...
This made me wildly curious. Thanks for the hint.
It's on the internet, too (of course, it's the most virtual thing imaginable!). Looks like the perfect thing to have on screen while being completely drugged out.
Thanks again you both for bringing my attention to this.
Feels like I just made a trip to the future .. in the past.
