It seems you missed my final post
...and also ChrisReynolds' post right after mine.
D'oh! Must've gotten lost in the mix. I've updated the OP and I'll let sol know.
I know, ha ha. I thought I had a top 5 spot locked up and was planning to be done (I was away visiting vaccinated family for the first time in over a year, didn't have time for a lot of films) when I saw I got passed. Luckily the rest of my family got tired early that night and I had time to slip one last watch in. After being 3rd/4th for most of the challenge I didn't want to slip out of the top 5.
I feel like I should share this review on Letterboxd about the queer aspects of Mitchells with you - was featured in the weekly newsletter mail:
Thanks again you both for bringing my attention to this.Torgo wrote: ↑April 5th, 2021, 12:02 amThis made me wildly curious. Thanks for the hint.flavo5000 wrote: ↑April 4th, 2021, 3:02 am12. Beyond the Mind's Eye (1992)
While I'm tempted to claim this one for the ugly CG bonus challenge like frbrown, I think I'll save it for later. But really, this whole thing is 100% '80s cheese. The Mind's Eye series was a big influence on that weird vaporwave trend that popped up on the internets a while back and may be just be too much cheese and chill for me to truly appreciate...
It's on the internet, too (of course, it's the most virtual thing imaginable!). Looks like the perfect thing to have on screen while being completely drugged out.
