Thanks for putting together the master list weirdboy, it really helped for counting for this challenge.

4. Black Christmas (1974) - 7.6 - Canada, horror, Christmas - {also Canadian challenge}
5. Miracle on 34th Street (1947) - 7.8 - 1940s
6. Fiddler on the Roof (1971) - 8.0 - 1970s, musical
7. Hair (1979) - 7.4 - musical

13. It's Such a Beautiful Day (2012) - 8.0 - 2010s, 1001, comedy, sci-fi
14. Charulata [The Lonely Wife] (1964) - 7.8 - 1960s, 1001, South Asia, depressing
15. The Corporation (2003) - 8.2 - Canada, documentary - {also Canadian and documentary challenges}
16. 103 minutes of shorts - The Impossible Voyage (silent), Window Water Baby Moving (1950s, short, experimental, documentary), Blight (short), Eaux d'artifice (experimental), The Night It Rained (Middle East), Pauvre Pierre (short) - The Iranian one was the best of the bunch.

Did better than expected on this challenge. I was focusing more on the other two, so most of these are incidental accumulations, and it means I overshot my yearly target of 12/12 by 1 for the challenge of challenges.

10. Go West, by Buster Keaton (1925) 7,5/10 #66 on iCM Forum's Favourite Western Movies Top 200

The last 15 minutes are incredible, the earlier part quite average for a Keaton film...

11. Conte d'automne, by Eric Rohmer (1998) 6/10 #85 on iCM Forum's Top 250 Highest Rated French Films

I'm still having a hard time with Rohmer's artist direction.

And this concludes my participation to this forum.

None of my December viewings (other than a Rohmer short) show up in the remaining six or seven lists that I had to go through so I think that's all from me.

Thank you for hosting, 72 - and Happy New Year!
That's all, folks!

I see Vals im Bashir and Berlin: Die Sinfonie der Grosstadt both are on 5 lists. Anyone found anything else that beat/tie that?
