notes - low turnout for the supporting acting slots. usually 5 pts doesn't get you in but for supporting actress there was only one with >5 pts so I included all the 5pts otherwise it would've been a declared win for Dita. There was an annoying tie for 5th best actor slot, Grant got it over Bartholomew & Fonda due to having 3 separate votes.
For director I had to assume weirdboy was giving points to McCarey for Awful Truth and Duvivier for Pepe. If that was wrong it'll mess up the numbers and cause awkward ties, so let's say it's right :D

I think that was Klaus Kinski. Asta is the first dog.

Who's supposed to be the male leading role in "La Grande Illusion"? They're all nominated as supporting role, including Jean Gabin.
Three ingredients of all good stories are humor, suspense and psychology.

Been too long since I seen it to remember exactly how much screentime they get but Gabin's the biggest role, for sure. Some people nominated him in lead but he got more points as support.

He got nominated lead for Pepe le Moko too, so he can't complain too much :P

I just watched it this month; I would definitely consider Gabin the lead, with the aristocratic French officer as a potential co-lead. Everyone else I would consider supporting.
