Really good round. I like to see some docus and even a short among the selection. Good stuff, managers. Close between all three films, that all brought very interesting things to the table.

Saw Ruka a few years ago, no need to rewatch. Fun entertaining short.

Really liked Thithi, good mix of comedy and drama. Another great example of contemporary Indian cinema.

Birthplace was rather middling to me. Interesting premise, but the short run time and not-so-compelling execution didn't do much for me. It felt so haphazard and casual that it was almost disrespectful to the man and his family and what they had gone through. I feel like his story deserved a better movie. I did find it fascinating how after 50 years people could still be so reticent (mind you, they'd just thrown off the shackles of communism and the Soviet occupation, so I suppose there was still plenty of distrust and uncertainty going around).

Very good round, and it's really hard to make the decision. Thithi was the only one made me laugh, and I liked their humor in small villages.
I think both Miejsce urodzenia and Shoah were good documentaries of the Holocaust from different perspectives.
