1. 'C'eravamo tanto amati' - 9.5/10
2. 'Lavoura Arcaica' - 8.5 or 9/10
3. 'Mùa len trâu' - 8/10
4. 'Reise der Hoffnung' - 7.5/10

Cheers to the four managers. Intriguing selections once again!
That's all, folks!

Reise der Hoffnung
Mùa len trâu
Lavoura Arcaica
C'eravamo tanto amati

Clear #1. Next three films kind of a toss-up. Brazil's was probably the most interesting, but I just couldn't stay engaged throughout.

Well, I'm pleasantly surprised by how well Mùa len trâu fared against high quality opposition.

That's more plain than I expected. A clear but narrowest win.

H2H between #3 and #4 is 20-19 as well, so all H2H between those three ended the same, with indeed the narrowest win for Brazil.

Quite a surprising result.
In the beginning I was sure that Italy with Scola would advance easily (personally not a fan of it though).
Never expect the Brazilian film getting so much love from this forum. Sure the visual is great (as someone comparing it with Sokurov), but the film is way too long and the story hardly draws my interest. But it's a pleasure to see Brazil advances. Its cinema has many to offer.

That was a true thriller of a round. Especially with my Brazil pick only getting #1 or #4. Each vote had a big impact on its placing.

:worship: Thank you guys! Especially my competetion. I'm glad most enjoyed (is that an appropriate word) Journey of Hope to some extent! Hopefully I can do just as good the next round. ;)
