(That's quite a mouthful indeed )

We all have directors we love, because of their skills, vision and artistry. Which results in them having made many favorite movies. While some of us have very specific taste, generally speaking many of our forum favorite directors align with the the most critically acclaimed filmmakers. A downside of this is that some of those critically acclaimed directors dominate many of our polls. So to counter that, we chose our favorite movies not directed by any director in the They Shoot Pictures, Don't They? (TSPDT) Directors Top 250 (the latest edition).

With a really small voter pool, I guess everyone who participated has an unusually strong influence on the results. My lists tend to go a bit more modern and mainstream for example, so that's a factor but also there's a bunch of films that have appeared already (e.g. Traffic) that I've seen and didn't include.
