Surprisingly I'm still at 67/500, just like before this year's results, and my ranking moved up from #345 to #341. This is likely the result of my votes helping to bump up several from 1000<400 into the top 500, although I've also seen several new entries I didn't vote for, including some of the 2019 stuff.

I ended up with 48, and I've just checked Happiness (1935), therefore I'm back at my original total of 49/500!

I did a little better than I thought - 100, down from 112. Highest checked: #13
Nathan Treadway will be furious that The Slender Thread dropped off. Again, I should have voted.

I only dropped 6, from 218 to 212 - must've undercounted while watching the countdown. That's definitely my best performance by far; hopefully next year I'll have a bronze both before and after the poll. And I lost 10 official checks and... gained 10 official checks. Not too shabby all things considered, although I will say that there are more films losing official status that I'm saddened by than films gaining that thrill me. The Lathe of Heaven is undoubtedly my favorite of the latter.

I notice that 2 of the dropouts are in my lists, so maybe I'll need to uprank them a little next year to get them back into the list.

Nice to see 'So Long at the Fair' and 'Lawn Dogs' gain official status on ICM. Pity to see 'Pool of London' and 'LA Plays Itself' go the other way and slip out of the 500. I almost supported the Halsted when I saw it in insomnius' list, but elected to stand firm and overlook (pretty much all) my 8s and 8.5s.

Thanks to PA and Tim for the results!

I've gone up from 187 on the old list to 195 on the new list. I did sneak in a couple of viewings of new entries along the way, but I'm still pleased with the increase! Maybe I will hit Bronze before next year if I spend more time working on the list. Big thanks to PA and Tim for the results and stats!

Next comes another exciting part; the 1000<400, I'm always curious to see what gems are lurking just below the surface...

Definitely! I was pretty surprised to see so many other Sono films rise up the ranks but no sign of Himizu. I consider it the best of his eligible films for the list and it might even be the only film of his I voted for.

If I had to pick one film (for this forum), it would be The Whispering Star. But I'm particularly happy to see Sono's other films make the list. As much as I like Himizu, it's certainly not his most remarkable film.

Went from 442 to 409. Won't complain though. I had gold two editions ago and planned to get it back at the latest version, but now I'm even further down, so maybe I won't even try anymore. Especially since we're not doing the FotW anymore, I don't regularly watch the movies on this list. I just watch what happens to get on my path with VODs or the WC.

Nah, don't keep stats in any way of this.

72aicm losing less checks is just because of having seen more of the new entries.

The new list has 9 live-action features from 1970s Japan but only 1 live-action feature from 1980s Japan (and it's Muddy River so it's not gonna be here next year). We need to fix that, 1980s Japan is so neglected and I've been seriously loving what I've been watching lately for the 1980s poll.
