So this happens when OldAle doesn't participate ..
 Decade lists are too much trouble for me.
To me decade lists are the easiest to make. Clear cut-off in years and just ranking them according to how much I overal love them without any other factors.
It's more the size of them than anything else. While I do have a bunch of large lists, most of them were started long, long ago; I just don't feel much desire to make up a new list from scratch that's going to be 200+ titles (probably 300+ for most decades from the 40s-90s). And I dunno, I just don't find making decade lists for myself that interesting - I have them for the two completed decades this century, but that's a little more interesting to me, to see current developments. And also when I started those they were pretty short.

I didn't participate either although it would be so much easier than the nightmare that "favorite Coming of Age films" was .. your post explains quite well why. Count me in for any genre or country list and contemporary year polls (as long as I'm active on the Forum), I just don't care that much about decades. They're just .. a period of time, ten singular years combined into one chunk, random and long concluded, personally and cineastically speaking. Why would I list that?

Results though, yay, give me that.

Does this mean BOTH versions of 'Scenes from a Marriage" ranked?

I ended up dropping seven films off my previous '70s list, and two of them were "Tristana" and "The Rocky Horror Picture Show" (both near the bottom of the 250).

I think The Spy Who Loved Me is one of the good Roger Moore Bonds (but then again I like Moonraker too, I think Roger Moore worked best when accepting the silliness), but I'm still surprised it made this list. Glad I could help C'eravamo tanto amati make it.

The film has the jaws, so it deserves a top 250 rank ;) .

I didn't rank Heroic Purgatory less because it's undeserving and more because I just don't remember it well enough. Have been meaning to re-watch...kept the torrent rather than throwing it out after the first watch.
