The current rules don't say anything about episodes, but I think episodes that are completely standalone should be allowed, for example US Go Home (which is already on the list). Do you have a specific episode in mind?
Yeah it seems stand-alone TV episodes entered TSPDT 21stC recently, like this.

- By making a imdb list of all ineligible titles.
- By providing a Imdb search link of eligible titles.
I created the ineligible titles list: https://www.imdb.com/list/ls089479060/
I hope I understood correctly.
It features TSPDT 1-2000, 21st Century and 2020 DtC MINUS the 2016 revotes. Or are the auto-nominated movies deemed ineligible?
Anyway, if it's just about the search link, it won't matter either way (as the nominations are also excluded).

Search link: https://www.imdb.com/search/title/?titl ... 2019-12-31

are TV episodes excluded?
You know, it depends. Some are, some are not. :P

Thank you!

I just noticed that one of my nominations (My Neighbors the Yamadas) is on the holdover list that was posted earlier in the thread. So I have removed that from my list and added You Ought to Be in Pictures. Here's my new list below, and I also edited my previous post with this info:

Duct Tape Forever (2002)
The Young Pope (2016)
How to Live With Regret (2018)
They Shall Not Grow Old (2018)

I wanted to nominate Heruta sukeruta and Climax which i have seen in the meantime, but i'm glad someone else apparently already did.

I've been thinking about nominating Assassination Nation instead of Skate Kitchen, but I don't think it really matters, unless someone else think it does. I don't think either of those are particularly likely to make it. Assassination Nation will fall out of the <400 checks list this year and lose official status.

I think it's best to save that one for next year, because otherwise other people who might wanted to nominate Skate Kitchen and decide they won't because I already nominated would be "kinda tricked", so i'm leaving at those 12 and I can nominate Assassination Nation (and others) next year which is not a big deal I suppose.

Also Climax is probably going to be in the TSPDT 21st century next year (or with a next update) I assume, since it barely felt off, and is still quite a recent movie.

I will also check if there are some DtC nominees i haven't seen i have an interest in seeing, because if i can help i will. :)

A question: Does someone else know around when Phase II will end, so how much time we will have to see some nomination. I have certainly a few of them I want to see, some of them already being planned for april. (there were like 29 on my watchlist, and i've added a ton of them, and haven't even gone through the entire list, mostly the most rated ones and everything from 1985 on.). Won't be able to see them all though, but there are certainly a ton of them i'm going to give a watch :)

Is somebody checking if all personal nominations are indeed eligable?
I was "scouting" in this thread with plans for joining the challenge next month and came across Blind Change, nominated by AB537, that is on TSPDT-2000
https://www.icheckmovies.com/movies/przypadek/

there might be others if nobody is doing this check... ;)

I've been compiling a to-see list for myself and have been checking it, but that's all - stuff like Blind Chance that I've seen and don't plan to re-watch (though I probably should in that case - maybe later) I'm not looking at. Haven't seen any missteps so far on my list of 125 potential viewings.

I don't know if Angel has a definite end date yet, but he has confirmed that you will have at least until April 30 to watch and vote for nominees in order that next month's Official Challenge can coincide with the project.

Okay thank you.

I have chosen 33 titles i want to see (and for Izgnanie, i'll probably go through his entire filmography of Zvyagintsev) https://letterboxd.com/lakigigar/list/d ... -to-watch/.

Thanks for flagging this, guess my vetting system wasn't as rigorous as I thought ...

As a replacement nominee, I'll go with Key Largo (John Huston, 1948) ... https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0040506 ... and will also edit my original nomination post.

hey Angel i'd like to replace Patrick Tam's 'My Heart is That Eternal Rose' with another film of his Cherie. there were already a couple of action hk stuff in my ballot so i figured i'd include something from a different type of hk genre cinema.

after not participating in this thing for some years i had forgotten how dtc makes you question yourself :)

Hi, all. For any Criticker users out there, I just finished a Collection page for the DtC 2021 Nominees list.

Please note that, so far, there are 68 titles that I've added to their database. Those will take a week or so before they're approved, but once they are they should show up on the list. Feel free to alert me of any discrepancies you catch. I'll continue to update this list as the nominations come in.
