I am somewhere around 1/3 of the way through my ballot.

Struggling with all the CSV issues has been a struggle, but it gave me an idea of how I can make this process more efficient in the future.

Do you rate films on imdb? If so, then you just need to match the imdb ttids from the ballot to an export of your ratings. Same can be done if you exported your checks from icm. Shouldn't have any issue with those weird Japanese characters you mentioned.

Waiting to watch one more submission and then I'll send in my ballot by the deadline. Should have about 70 ratings.

Stupid question maybe: 80-90 ballots overall and not only from ICM users, am I understanding this correctly? So the DtC list is the result of just about 100 (avid) film fans scattered across the web?
If so, has the number of participants changed over the years? Just curious.

Clue (quoted from DtC's original statement):
To qualify for the main list a film must have received at minimum 5 votes. If there are 50-59 participants then the minimum is 6 votes - 60-69 participants is 7 votes, etc.
Ballots received in 2020: 90 (2019: 79, 2018: 91, 2017: 87, 2016: 93).

Just sent a write-in ballot for 15 more votes. B) ----------------------- (my original stats)

Updated Breakdown of Votes

0 = 21 films
1 = 33 films
2 = 88 films
3 = 115 films
4 = 75 films
5 = 60 films
6 = 54 films

Voted on 445 films in total; mean vote: 3.31

Some more 6/6 ratings in that last batch. :shifty:
If I can watch 15 more noms over the next 6 days, I will have officially broken my personal record for most nominees voted for in a single year. :run:

Am I to believe the mini-series is watched 5x as much as the Snyder crapfest, or is this another example of sloppy voting?

I say this every year.
DON'T VOTE MANUALLY!!
Use some kind of crossreference to match your IMDb-ratings or iCM-checks to the list, so you're sure to vote for the movies you've actually seen.

How then? You're not doing it manually, right? Or did the order of your sheet miraculously change? You should import votes with VLOOKUP based on IMDb-url to be sure, instead of pasting the column. If you use VLOOKUP, it doesn't matter if someone accidentally changes the order of the ballot.

Cool, thanks!
With that info provided, I felt comfortable sending in my ballot. :P
Somehow I got carried away while voting, resulting in too many generous votes. Oops! Maybe that evens out another too harsh voter.

Being an excerpt, aren't we supposed to see only a few entries? Because I for one can see them all. And that's something like a big spoiler.

Only for titles that are not doing well. Do you think that a title with only one vote, a 6 from its nominator, is doing well? :P
