As I said before, British comedy isn't doing well. Young Ones, Blackadders, Mr. Bean...... and now the unforgivably huge drop for Monty Python. I can't take this list serious anymore.

Python and
Fawlty Towers I think; I do like the rest of those you mention, just haven't seen enough and/or haven't seen any of it since the 90s (or even 80s in some cases). Oh I also voted for
Ripping Yarns but that's significantly more obscure I think.
My impression is that there are more people whose TV choices stem from nostalgia than people who watch or remember film that way; certainly the preponderance of newer shows here and a demographic that reflects that strikes me as not coincidental. And it's true for me, lots of stuff from the 70s-80s on my list. I don't consciously watch TV in the same way or for the same reasons I watch movies - if there are tv "equivalents" of Lav Diaz and Jacques Rivette, I'm not aware of them and not looking for them. So I'd say in my own case that TV is much more a "comfort food" for me than film and it's certainly reflected in my list. And I don't believe I'm the only one though some may not be as conscious of it.
