I'll cap this at 150 since I'm running out of time! Here it is (ranked):

PA accepts group-ranked lists in his polls. Each title in a group received the average points of those ranks if the list was ranked. The script you're using doesn't have that option. PA uses a spreadsheet when he hosts.
So consider the above list unranked.

I'm not done yet, but I'm throwing SOMETHING up there just in case the deadline comes faster than expected due to time-zone issues.
I want to include some Ken Russell films made for the BBC. Legal?

Yeah I know some lists accept groups of ranking "tiers" I suppose you'd call them - so if that is not the case then please feel free to do it as unranked.joachimt wrote: ↑January 31st, 2021, 3:53 pmPA accepts group-ranked lists in his polls. (Or partially ranked with #1 as #1 and the rest unranked).
Sorry for the confusion!

I never knew IMDb had the best list editing - I just can't finish my iCM list in time. Hopefully, the lists aren't downloaded immediately tomorrow.

Since we are coming up on the closing time I just confirmed my list is right for check amounts and length. My list eventually turned out to be ranked to 212 and unranked afterwards.
I've just come to realize that if a movie were seen by every voter of our poll, it wouldn't be eligible.
I'm really curious to see how this plays out ..

It's gonna be a weird list.
A lie ain't a 'side of the story.' It's just a lie.
I wonder if any film will get more than two votes.
I'm sure of that (without having cheated by looking up the nominations and scanning for potential winners!). The forum game is strong when it comes to pushing unknown films. It always showed in the <400 list and I expect that effect to become huge for this poll. The question is how many films will get into the list just by random; without the help of community cultists or goals for obscure lists (Pinoy comes to mind). For these outlier titles, I expect a number which should be close to zero.

Weird lists are the best!
That's all, folks!
I was skimming some lists just now. I saw a few. "Repeated Absences," "The Rise and Rise of Michael Rimmer," I think the shorts "Breath Death" and "Mosaic"?
Anything with more than one vote might make the top 100.
If nothing else, this exercise is showing that there are a lot of films out there that people like that very few people have seen...

I've just finished going through all the submitted lists, which I loved doing. I decided to incorporate any film I rated 9/10 or higher that showed up, which results in my list billowing out now to 160 titles in length - from the originally-envisioned 100.
Still absolutely UNRANKED: https://www.icheckmovies.com/lists/my+f ... emaniac88/
I can't really bring myself to rank so many favourites. There might be a marginal drop-off in terms of how much I cherish titles once I go outside the Top 100 or so, but I really like how this list has turned out. Not too long but packed full of films I hold dear.
Looking forward to seeing how these results will pan out!

Here's my list: https://www.imdb.com/list/ls084809142/
Fully ranked. I can't be bothered to order the shorts completely, so they're listed after the feature-length films.

Your list reminded me of "An Early Frost"...I saw that when it was new but didn't have it checked.Fergenaprido wrote: ↑February 1st, 2021, 6:55 am Here's my list: https://www.imdb.com/list/ls084809142/

My guess is that some films will even get 10+ votes.
The top 50, maybe even 100 will likely all have 3+ votes, possibly more - if not I'd be shocked.
There are a lot of quite famous films with under 50 checks, and many of us must have seen see, i.e. the Gilles, the Duras, the Naruse, etc. etc.
and maybe for this poll more than others, people will be inspired by each others lists
I have seen 91/354 from yours, probably going to pick up some tips I never heard about before

Ok that would make 71 lists to process.

Just added one more to mine, if that's permissible.
Also I just realised I wanted my imdb list sorted by my ranking, but I'm not sure other users can do that. So just consider them unranked.

My #2 choice hitting 50 checks a couple hours before the poll closes

Theses Films will be removed from the Poll (right collum is the number of icm checks)
Bu san | 2003 | http://www.icheckmovies.com/movies/bu+san/ | 1127 |
The Ascent of Man | 1973 | http://www.icheckmovies.com/movies/the+ascent+of+man/ | 71 |
Quatorze Juillet | 1933 | http://www.icheckmovies.com/movies/quatorze+juillet/ | 52 |
Bolivar soy yo | 2002 | http://www.icheckmovies.com/movies/bolivar+soy+yo/ | 51 |
Gwen; le livre de sable | 1985 | http://www.icheckmovies.com/movies/gwen ... +de+sable/ | 51 |
Johnny Allegro | 1949 | http://www.icheckmovies.com/movies/johnny+allegro/ | 51 |
Someone voted for a movie with 1127 checks?

So films that have exactly 50 checks are being allowed?

I assumed not, since the title is "under 50 checks". I filtered out anything 50+ when I made my list, and I suspect most people did the same.joachimt wrote: ↑February 2nd, 2021, 6:31 pmNoTraverseTown wrote: ↑February 2nd, 2021, 6:18 pm So films that have exactly 50 checks are being allowed?![]()

Yes, I did the same. I had added 'Quatorze Juillet' after seeing it in Gloede's list, but noticed it was at 52 checks when sorting my list by checks. I dispensed with Clair's lovely film with a heavy heart, and that left 'Babochka' (1972) as the most checked entry on my list (49 checks).Fergenaprido wrote: ↑February 2nd, 2021, 6:51 pmI assumed not, since the title is "under 50 checks". I guess Traverse made that question in surprise that Tim did not remove any 50 checks movie, maybe just a coincidence. Best for Tim to reconfirm.
