The poll will be closed sometime during the week, most likely Tues or Wed. You may add a new poll or modify the existing one til the subject header indicate "closed". In the mean time, I will send an PM to those who forgot to include the link as the first reminder, and one more reminder in the thread before the poll closed.

I'm leaving out 'Flora's Fancy Tree' - a lovely little student piece made by Gregory Gutenko in homage to Norman McLaren - as it was created in 1975-'76, and only eventually aired on PBS television in 1980. Recommended though and it's on Vimeo, should anyone wish to check it out: https://vimeo.com/22219297.

(Edited to include the fresh IMDb links for 'Around & About' and 'Mirror, Mirror'. Many thanks, gromit!)
That's all, folks!

Eh, don't know if I will get to any more, and I did get over the 100 film minimum I like to hit, and found one new serious favorite in the last week, so what the hell, might as well go for it now.

1. The Falls (Peter Greenaway)
2. Nárcisz és Psyché (Gábor Bódy)
3. Hollywood (Kevin Brownlow/David Gill)
4. Jostoju (Amir Naderi)
5. Zig-Zag - le jeu de l'oie (Une fiction didactique à propos de la cartographie) (Raoul Ruiz)
6. Gloria (John Cassavetes)
7. Crac (Frédéric Back)
8. Mon oncle d'Amérique (Alain Resnais)

9. Merry-Go-Round (Jacques Rivette)
10. City After Dark (Ishmael Bernal)
11. The BIg Red One (Sam Fuller)
12. Amor (Robert Beavers)
13. Le roi et l'oiseau (Paul Grimault)
14. Moskva slezam ne verit (Vladimir Menshov)
15. The Lathe of Heaven (Fred Barzyk/David R. Loxton)
16. Tell Me a Riddle (Lee Grant)
17. 'Breaker' Morant (Bruce Beresford)
18. Sauve qui peut (la vie) (Jean-Luc Godard)
19. Moon Breath Beat (Lisze Bechtold)
20. Les 3 inventeurs (Michel Ocelot)
URLs
HM - left off because I'm kind of sick of "blockbusters" at the moment: The Empire Strikes Back, Superman II

HM - left off because I need to see them again: Atlantic City, Cosmos, The Elephant Man, La mort en direct, Raging Bull, Shogun Assassin, The Stunt Man

HM in general: Act of God; Airplane; Bad Timing; Bona; Bronco Billy; Dressed to Kill; Gregory's Girl; Inferno; The Long Good Friday; The Metaphor; Ordinary People; Out of the Blue: Sir Crazy; The Sweater; Used Cars

I'm afraid after 4 tries - 2 in the cinema - I still don't like The Shining. But it's been a long time now, maybe 5th time will be the charm? Not in time for this poll though.

Disappointed that I didn't get around to seeing: Aguila; Alligator; American Gigolo; Berlin Alexanderplatz; Les bons débarras; La boum; Brubaker; Carny; La città delle donne; Cruising; Le dernier métro; L'éxilé; Golem; Heerak Rajar Deshe; Hopscotch; A Idade da terra; Jagko; Ko to tamo peva; Kuruizaki sanda rodo; Loulou; O Megalexandros; Oblomov; Popeye; Rycerz; Satah Se Uthata Aadmi; Une semaine de vacances; Spetters; Tsigoineruwa; Le voyage en douce and many more.

Like Melvelet, 1980 is an anomaly for me. It's my third least-watched year between 1950 and 2019. Been trying to rectify that, and knocked off a few classics this month (Pepi, Raging Bull, and Ordinary People so far). Will try to get to City After Dark and The Elephant Man before the deadline, but posting my list for now in case I don't make it.

1. Les 3 inventeurs [The Three Inventors]
2. Crac
3. Star Wars: Episode V - The Empire Strikes Back
4. Ordinary People
5. Le dernier métro [The Last Metro]
6. Gadające głowy [Talking Heads]
7. Out of the Blue
8. The Shining
9. The Sweater
10. Gregory's Girl
11. The Changeling
12. Taxi zum klo [Taxi to the Toilet]
13. The Fiddlers of James Bay
14. Les bons débarras [Good Riddance]
15. Airplane
16. Pepi, Luci, Bom y otras chicas del montón [Pepi, Luci, Bom and Other Girls Like Mom]
17.
18.
19.
20.
