Noo! So close. If I just hadn't voted for Coming of Age. (What would you have done about the tie with E/A-G? (That could work as an ominous acronym.))
I would have gotten two mice, one called E/A-G the other CoA, built a massive maze and the one who completed this massive maze fastest would win the last spot. :)

Seriously, to decide a tie I would have started a discussion and listen to good arguments to which to include to keep the overal schedule interesting and varied .

Recurring means the poll was held at least once before, annual are polls that are held every year.
21st century is in itself a new poll, but it’s kind of recurring cause there were 2000s and 2010s poll before.

2021 Concept Poll schedule
JanuaryUnder 50 checks
FebruaryDirectorial feature debuts
March1001 Favourite Films (annual)
AprilComing of Age
May1970s (recurring)
JuneJapan (recurring)
JulyWestern (recurring)
August21st Century
September500<400 (annual)
October1980s (recurring)
NovemberSports
December Comedies (recurring)
Directors (annual)
What time in the month are polls usually held? Might it not be better to have Under 50 Checks in February if you want folks to capitalise on their viewings from the entirety of the 1000<400 Challenge?

Polls always run about the whole month, they usually end near the end of the month, around the last weekend or so.

It would indeed be better to put it in the month after to maximal capitalize on the viewings, that's why I put Japan and Western both a month and two months after their challenges. But cause I suggested to sync Debuts with the RtD challenge in Feb and 1001 Fav is always in March I thought putting <50 in the same month as the 400<100 and Debuts in the same month as RtD would be the best way to capitalize on those two challenges.

But we could move <50 to Feb. And maybe Debuts to December, so it's at the same time as the annual Directors poll. Which could also be an interesting overlap. And move Comedies or Sports to Jan. Or Debuts to April and Coming of Age to January.

Personally, I would like to keep comedies later in the year so I have time to go through more classics, but it doesn't revolve around me, so whatever y'all decide is fine.

If there are no further comments on the suggested schedule and feedback I will close this discussion and the schedule will be accepted as it is now.
