Upgraded my list from a top 100 to a top 200. Well, technically 201 because The Great Silence seems to have immunity - and refuses to leave. Can delete other entries now, but the great silence persists. Fitting in a way, so why the hell not.

Every 50 movies the point value of that rank decreases by half (the values in between decrease appropriately).
So th 50th movie gets 50 points, the 100th gets 25 pts, the 150th gets 12.5 pts, etc.
We really should put a full explanation of this in the Forum FAQ.

In the second post. Maybe not the best one possible, but I haven't updated that in 3 years.
That is a very clever approach to accept many films. So #1 is 100 points, right? And that the drop in score in consecutive films after #50 is a constant drop, not a percentage drop? A drop of 1 point above #50, and a drop of 0.5 point between #51 and #100, etc.?

Yes, #1 is 100 (it doesn't have to be, but it's what everyone does). No, it's all percentage all the way through.
