Sadly, the magnificent Fehérlófia (1981) crossed the 400 check-mark not too long ago... :/
Do not fret, though! It will stay on the ICM most favorited films

Let us say unranked for now. I will try to fix that and will repost as ranked later.

Still need to update mine. Daunting task as I haven't updated it for a long time.

PGonzalez, Invisible Life (2019) was a fantastic film, but we're not allowed to vote for 2019-titles this round .. although I doubt that it will stay under 400 checks for the next poll

btw, Karel Zeman surely is a household name for the <400 polls :D

There surely is some love for The Visit (1964) in this forum. Weird that it never even showed up in things like Doubling the Canon.
The film made it into the list last year, and assuming myself, 1SO and amechsner all keep in the top 10 of our list, I imagine it would appear again this year too. It also received some positive notices when it made Film of the Week some months ago, so maybe it will even climb higher this year.

I'm aware of that, I just left it in (plus a few other 2019 titles) to make sure I don't forget them next year. I only left them because I remember Peaceful saying that they didn't really make a difference as the algorithm just ignored them, but if they're a nuisance I can remove them!

As far as I know, it wasn't on 500<400 before, but it was on DtC.

A beautiful, playful, tantalising Top 50 there, insomnius! I'll certainly be sure to support a number of these in my list.

I'm going to try to watch two or three of your picks, that I have been meaning to dive into for several years now. 'Expose Me, Lovely' and 'Foxtrot' are both much looked forward to here, and I think I'll attempt to make room for 'The Tiffany Minx' as well. Really have loved what I've seen so far of Roberta Findlay's work in collaboration with others ('Mnasidika' and 'Mascara' would be among my favourite discoveries of 2020 FTVs).

That's all, folks!

unranked and very helter-skelter. May contain duplicates, hard to check -
would be easier if some kind person would make an ICM list for me.

(I went to town on this. I'm very capricious about favoriting things, so I went thru others list and flagged things I'd liked and.... )

Hey, hope you're well.

Those are the only films under 400 checks I've seen. ;) Nah, really, I'm just hoping for some variation in the final list and your support would cerntainly be welcome.

It would be nice to see Findlay getting some nods on official lists, if not else for being one of the pioneers along with her husband in the 60s exploitation scene, which frankly can be seen as the seed to what later became the adult industry in the 70s. I can't say that I've enjoyed everything I've seen by her, but 'Tiffany Minx' was a good mix of campy fun, psychological study and a hint of feminism. You should really prioritize some Radley Metzger though, if you haven't watched any. Top level production values there.

Oh, yeah. Not too bad at all, thanks. I've been adding quite a few of these titles to my watchlist over the last few months and haven't been watching any of them. Metzger is someone I've been meaning to look into for the longest time and I just know I'll love some of his celebrated works. I was just reading a piece over on Distribpix about 'Barbara Broadcast' yesterday as a matter of fact! Thanks for the nudge in that direction, haahaa... About time I made time for one of his!

Always nice seeing your lists and getting some pointers.

Sorry if this is off-topic, but I was looking at the formula used to calculate the points, and I don't get it.

#N: 100 / 2 ^ ((N-1) / 50) points

With N=1, doesn't that mean we're dividing by 0? Since 1-1=0, 0/50=0, 2*0=0... and then 100/0 is impossible. It's admittedly been a while, but I seem to remember that's how order of operations work?

2^0 = 1 and not 0. It's 2 raised to the power of 0, not multiplied by 0.
