Ranked: https://www.icheckmovies.com/lists/movi ... beasterne/

I had an unranked Top 50 when I started, but I decided to add some more and make it fully ranked. Honestly, I fully support this as a concept for an official list. Just call it "culturally, aesthetically, or otherwise significant films that should be official but currently aren't". I know official status isn't the end-all-be-all of what makes a film good, but for anyone new to the site, having a film be on zero lists confers some sort of nebulous "less-than" quality. Adding a list like this could be a way to recognize some of these films that currently fall into the gaps left by all other official lists.

Your list reminded me that I can include Black Mirror episodes. I managed to limit myself to five.

I'm keeping it to one episode per anthology show. I went with:

Bandersnatch (which is more like a movie anyway) for Black Mirror
Sandy Passage for Documentary Now
The Monsters are Due on Maple Street for The Twilight Zone
Troy State 253, DeVry 141 for Pretty Good

The list is RANKED.
And it's voluntarily short. I only went for strong injustices and I've excluded too recent films (<5 years)

I hope you (and others) have also managed to make some room for at least a few conceptually bankrupt dramas selling Frenchness to wine mums and run of the mill hype movies - just can't get enough of those. (l)

Always happy to see Looney Tunes and Droopy....

Only had to remove three from the last edition after becoming official (Homo sapiens, Un coeur en hiver and The Chase), so I took some time and expanded it from a top 50 to an aprox. top 100. It is ranked (some reordering still pending):

This is a fun exercise, and a great opportunity to celebrate favourites that are either unknown, or perhaps just films we individually like more than most others do. My list is definitely slanted towards more recent content, but does include some older stuff that I think has slipped through the cracks.

https://www.icheckmovies.com/lists/ab53 ... sts/ab537/

1-40 Ranked, the rest group ranked

One final note: my ICM is being randomly wonky with counting lists for some films (e.g. Bride of Frankenstein and The Big Clock on zero lists!), so apologies for any errors - I've done my best to eliminate them, but possible something sneaked through.

Tonnes of absolute corkers with no official list home, including my #1 film of all time, the Satin Slipper.

333 movies ranked 1-333

Correct, it won't be eligible for this poll. When I run the scripts, I'll exclude any 2019 and 2020 films that may have made their way on to the ballots. I'm not checking each list for those as I go through them, but people can still edit and update their list until the deadline when I start downloading them all.

This was one of the hardest lists to make. Anything less than a top 500 would exclude too much for me while I never make a list above 1000, so trying to find a good cutoff point between the two was ugh.

You still have until the end of the week (and possibly the weekend if I have to spend a lot of time finding new screenshots, etc., but no promises there).

Even if you just want to resubmit your old list, that would be fine.

here's my list so I don't forget to post the link. I still have to add about 40 more films, but they will all likely be unranked and the bottom half of the list done. 1-56 ranked, the rest are unranked-
