Wow zootopia was my number 100 until a few hours before thé deadline when i saw heartstone. Zootopia got out of the list, lost 25 points and those 25 points would have been enough to made it in. Not that i care so much. Otherwise i would have made a top 150

I thought A Touch of Sin had more fans? It's probably the most accessible Jia (that or Mountains May Depart, maybe).
edit - didn't see cinewest's post when I wrote this. JINX!
Also surprised Blue Ruin didn't make the cut, and neither of our genre cheerleaders, mighty and Laki, voted for it?
I need to rewatch both Blue Ruin and Green Room.
Murder Party is a near perfect film and I love Macon Blair, but Saulnier’s other work just hasn’t impressed me much. I thought Blue Ruin was ok but nothing special, but I also want to rewatch it at some point.

That’s why I make my cut-off ‘when I stop caring too much about the films’ rather than a specific number or I’d feel too disappointed when stuff didn’t make it in.

It's around 100 for me. I feel like a top 100 is perfect
I like round numbers, so landed on 200 for this one. Some of the inclusions/cuts around the 200 mark were a bit arbitrary. I also shift to group ranked when the difference between films seems really marginal, since it's just not worth the effort to differentiate between films ranked 170-175, for example.
A lot of very good films in the top 400, but just outside the list, and another of my top 30 at #389. Not surprised that Keyhole doesn’t have a lot of followers, but I thought A Guy Maddin film would attract more than 5. This is my top rated of his for the decade, too.
does anyone know whether Krisha made the list? Perhaps I missed it. If so, that means only Raul Ruiz’s Night Across the Street (my #12) has received no mention at all.... or did I miss that one also?
Both Keyhole and Night Across the Street are dreamscapes, which would seem to attract a few david lynch lovers, as well, especially Keyhole, with its noir setting.
As for the top 250, I saw almost 70%, and am only attracted to about 1/5 of those I didn’t see.
I submitted a top 100 that I am very satisfied with at this point in time, and a little more than 50% of mine made the top 250 (36 in the top 100).
My highest Unseen are The fairly recent films: The Favorite and The Lighthouse (which I will stream very soon), followed by a toy story 3 (not really my thing, though I expect to see it one of these days with all the little tykes running around me now), It’s Such a Beautiful Day, and Mysteries of Lisbon (probably the highest on my list to see).
My highest dislike (and there are quite a few the top 100 for me) is Drive, though I voted for 6 of the other top 7. Next highest dislikes are Mad Max Fury road, Django Unchained, and La La Land, though the only major thumbs down would go to Django Unchained.
Six or seven of my own top 30 didn’t make the top 250, here, and I have remarked upon them where they have shown up, if they have.
Fun to follow along and comment, though going all the way back to the original too 250’s was a bit of a bore (they didn’t start getting interesting until around #500.
Thanks for the hard work, Lonewolf, and for all who engaged in conversation along the way. Cheers
Night Actoss the Street is more of a Latin Theatrical surreal memoir, and that probably works against, but it’s absolutely one of my favorites by Ruiz

I always make my cutoff the length of the final list. Basically the way I see it is we are making a top 250 so I give 250 suggestions
