UPDATED THE OP. Please check if your list is stated and linked correctly!

I counted 37 participants (so far). Which is more than I thought we would have. Can anybody check this number please for me?
I counted 37 as well up to this post.

More have been added since your post, but I counted 37 as well (up to that point), and you seem to have everything listed correctly in the OP.

Oh, I didn't know nominations were actually occurring lol. I thought this was a thread for discussing the topic of the poll because I had seen a thread for that a few months ago and I assumed this was the same thread as that. I'll submit a list based off my favorites and exclude stuff that's 7.0 or higher on IMDb because I see other people using that method.

I have made my list, should be able to put it into IMDb by tonight but may slip into the morning if I have to stay late at work. Will shoot to have it in by tonight.

I'll leave my list but it's moot since I was looking at checks not rates/votes.... I think. At any rate I feel more confused now having participated; like existentialism ruling the unrulable.

I'll probably add a few more to this but IMDb is going slowly for me right now so it's at least a start. Fully ranked.

My list

Films rated strictly less than 7 on IMDb and that I rated 8 or higher. Ranked from highest spread between the two ratings to lowest.

I just got back home. I think it's still January 3rd somewhere for another hour or so. Finalizing my list now.

Okay here's my list: https://www.imdb.com/list/ls093398875/
Ranked.

I looked at all films I rated 7 or higher on imdb that had an average of 6.9 or lower. Then I removed anything with less than 1000 votes and anything from 2018 & 2019. The ordering is a mix between the difference between my rating and the average, and how highly I rated the film. I moved a few films up and down depending on what felt right, and added a few shorts at the end. The ranking is still kind of messy, but further down I don't think the point differences will really matter much.

NOMINATIONS ARE NOW CLOSED! I UPDATED THE OP. Please check if your list is stated and linked correctly!
I will go download all list now. You can still adjust your list, until I'm done searching for screenshot. If you do so please post so in a new post, so I know to redownload your list.

@peeptoad: Your list is set to private, please set it to public. Or I can't download it.

I counted 46 participants. Which is more than I thought we would have. Can anybody check this number please for me?

The average list length is 91, the median is 57, the mode is 20. Which half-life shall I use?

I'm all done now

1000 imdb-votes minimum
For things I've given 10 or 9. max 6.9 on imdb
For things I've given 8. max 6.4 on imdb

(I was going with 6.4 for everything first but that would have given me a list shorter than 50)

I think either 25 or 20? You could run the script for both and then compare and see which results look more "right".

I decided to keep it at 50. That way we can have a top 100 without any 2 votes movies in it.

The ones that were excluded by me because of year:
Every Day (2018)

No, you weren't too late. Was still searching for screenshots anyhow. .
Will definitively download all list now. Edits won't be redownloaded anymore.
