Pin is an awesome film. Big fan of that one but it's too widely seen/well-known for my liking. I think it's better to be promoting the more obscure stuff.
Outta 3 Canadian films listed on your 500lessthan400 it's no other than Pin having best fav/check ratio, while speaking of obscurity among these is ridiculously small (around 310vs285vs250 checks). But in the end you should pick what's dearest to you.
Sorry - what? I don't know whose <400 list you are referring to, but I have several (maybe up to a dozen) Canadian films with under 250 checks on my own 500<400 list, including a whole bunch with less than 20 checks. And it's one of those that I am considering for anyone who wants to dig deep.

some more suggestions (and how they did in this years Doubling poll)

COUNTRY - TITLE - RATING - VOTES
Germany - Die Berührte 1981 - 5,50 - 2
Russia - Serebryanye golovy 1999 - 5,50 - 4
France - malgre la nuit 2015 - 5,33 - 3
Portugal - onde bate o sol 1989 - 4,25 - 4

More risky picks than earlier suggestions I think, but favorites of mine and the Doubling scores could at least use a little boost ;)

I saw a banned Chinese movie: Shu Ji (AKA. The Transition Period (2010))
It's a documentary about a Chinese committee secretary's life before he left Gushi City(a small city in Henan). I don't like it enough to pick it, but anyone interested in Chinese politics may want to see it. Only 3 checks on icheckmovies.

It wouldn't be a world cup without joachim and monty sniping at each other.

I understand not having time to watch films at all, but choosing + posting to Joachim takes about a minute.

I'm not sure anyone has? The people who haven't submitted a film yet are all very active members, so, I don't think that will be the case this time around.

Indeed. Two days ago I even checked if all the managers who hadn't submitted yet had been on the forum. At that moment they all had been online in the last 24 hours.

Almost done. Waiting for three more submissions:
Italy (hurluberlu)
France (Mochard)
USA (monty)

This is your last call, monty. I couldn't even post another one before the deadline. Off to bed in a few minutes and I'll be at work tomorrow morning. Will be back 1 or 2 hours after the deadline.
