Are you using titles or urls with the list helper? If you use urls it can't put the wrong title on your list.
For shorts I use ttids, but for features I usually use titles since it's a faster process (though prone to error). I should probably just invest the time to use ttids for all titles.
I start every poll from an export of my IMDb-ratings, so the ttids are already there. I always create the list in Excel and then I just paste the ttids into list helper. Safest way.
I have an extensive spreadsheet that I filter from for my poll lists. I keep the ttids in number form only, though, so I need to do an extra few steps to convert those back into ttids for the listhelper. Plus, sometimes the listhelper just cuts out midway and I have to restart. Either way, I should have easily caught the Incredibles error, simply by checking that I'd seen and rated all the films on my list (though it used to display more prominently that number... now you have to go to Refine to doublecheck that).

But yeah... note to self: Use ttids as it is indeed the safest way.

Movies seen: 180/250 (72%)
Movies I voted for: 98/250 (39%) (38% of my list of 259)
Highest movie unseen: #8 La planète sauvage [Fantastic Planet] (1973)
Highest favourite: #4 Toy Story 3 (2010)
Highest dislike: #22 Tenshi no tomago [Angel's Egg] (1985)
Highest (non-favourite) movie I voted for: #1 Sen to Chihiro no kamikakushi [Spirited Away] (2001)
Highest (non-dislike) movie seen I didn't vote for: #5 Hotaru no haka [Grave of the Fireflies] (1988)
Position of my #1: #26 Finding Nemo
My highest vote that didn't make the list: #642 How to Train Your Dragon: The Hidden World (my #31)

This would probably have been my No. 1 if I'd been successful in putting together a list. A pity to see it drop 25 spots. It's really such an exquisite and touching masterpiece!
Would’ve been my number one as well. One of my absolute favourites.
So it could even have been 19 places higher......
just add a #17 from me

Indeed!
:poshclap:

Seen 218/250, obviously without ever working on the list. Only 4 missing for me from the Top 150: #68 Evangelion film (because, the series, duh), #70 Tower (looks great, thanks for the hint!), #106 Innocence and #124 My Love (which is a short; I'm not such a Petrov fan).

If you like both of these Tomm Moore films, you'll probably also like The Secret of Kells.

Planning to watch it soon (as well as The Breadwinner perhaps). I saw 2 other very good animation movies in the last three days: The Tale of Princess Kaguya (probably a new all-time favourite) and The Red Turtle (also very good, possibly the 4th best animation i've ever seen).
