I wonder how much of the Up series will appear. I voted for 7, 14, 28, 35 and 49 only (the other chapters interested me a lot less) and it will be fascinating to see which comes out on top.

I think seven up will be the highest ranked simply because the most people, perhaps by far, will have seen it. First in the series, and it’s a short.

After that, let’s go with 28 up.

Only 5 voted for and 10 seen out of these lowest 36, this must be a record poor showing for me, but then I've never really focused on documentaries for their own sake. Really glad to see Mur Murs make it.

And I probably placed it too far down, so there goes pretty much any sneaky appearance. :ermm:

I would have loved to vote in this poll, but putting together a ballot would take me ages and I simply haven't had time this month. :( Enjoying the results anyhow.

I love the Up series and would have put it on my list, but could not be bothered to assign a spot for each and rank them.

Seemed like too much hassle.
I was inspired to watch it, while wandering arround submitted lists. Really liked it, but I forgot to bring my list to another rearrangement.
The next episode should be comming this year. "63 up"

Uh-oh. Something's wrong, Joachim. I listed this film at #23 on my ballot. What happened?
lol, I have listed it at #24 and my vote is missing too.

What an amazing movie, simply impossible that it should drop!

I also voted for The End Of Time.

EDIT: Ah, I see things have been already resolved.

I was a bit irritated by the proposition of removing Decasia, to me it's obviously an experimental documentery. Also I don't think we should remove movies that are tagged as documentary on icm in an icm-forum poll about documentaries.

iCM tags are IMDB tags. Anyone can change those tags. So don't see genre tags as the absolute power. It's good to have discussions about it. At least I'm glad I discussed some rules before starting the nominations. I think it resulted in some guidelines that most people can accept. There will always be boundary cases.

I'm aware of that and I see the fact that anyone can change them as a reason to take them seriously. After all, anyone who disagrees with Decasia being a documentary could have changed it. I see far more problems in giving a single person that absolute power.

I certainly have no issue with discussion, and some guidelines were obviously necessary considering that some people actually would have voted for mockumentaries.

Not sure how I missed voting for Cosmos. I have the feeling that if I'd really put a lot of time into this I'd have at least 25 more entries. Oh well, next time.
