Voting Rules:
- You must watch all 3 films before you vote.
- To vote, rank the 3 films from most favorite to least favorite. (note: you're ranking the individual films, not the countries)

Voting deadline = Sep 23rd
Countdown till deadline

The country that ends at 1st place proceeds to the next round. The ranking of the match will be decided using these rules:
- Ranked by lowest average ranking.
- In case of a tie between two movies, head-to-head determines the winner (how many people thought A>B and how many thought B>A).
- In case there's still a tie after the previous rule or there is a tie between all three movies, most #1-votes determines the winner.
- Still a tie? Fewest #3-votes determines the winner.
- Still a tie? The match will have a 3 day extension (except when the tie is only between #2 and #3).
Here's a quick summary of how the tournament worksShow
We start with 48 films from 48 countries. Each country has a manager who determines which movie will be watched. In the first round the countries are divided into 12 groups of 4. From each group the countries that end up at #1 and #2 proceed to the next round. In the 2nd round the 24 remaining countries will be divided into 8 groups of 3. The managers pick a new movie. The winner of each group proceeds to the next round. The final 8 countries compete one-on-one in the quarter finals (with a new movie of course) and so on till the final.

Close match for me between the three films. Not amazed by any of the films, but no major complaints.

1. Belle Epoque 7/10
2. Bicho de Sete Cabeças 6/10
3. O drakos 6/10

Brainstorm?
It really helps for me if people just use the original title, that's listed above. Even if people use the English AKA I often need to check which is which. And you are not even using the title that is listed in this thread.

Maybe he means the other movie felt like a horrible brain storm and he prefers not to mention its name again?

It's the literal translation. Can't get no closer than that.

The subtitles for the film called it Brainstorm and that is the English title that IMDB gives me for the film as well.

And that's why the "reference" view with the "original" title setting is better.

So far it looks like this will have a clear winner. But you never know. The Last Command managed to get back as well, so anything is possible.

I just updated it on iCM (because the year was off) and now the AKA on iCM says "Brainstorm" as well.

More accurately, a beauty is sandwiched between the beasts.

1. Belle Epoque - Saw this movie a long time ago and loved it
2. O drakos - Interesting but kind of confusing at the beginning, especially since the subtitles don't explain anything about the newspapers so I had to look into why everyone was acting weird with him and stuff
3. Bicho de Sete Cabeças - I really disliked this movie

This was the hardest match for me to rank since the World Cup began. It is because I felt all three films were really bad (apologies to the managers). I would rank the films and second guess my first choice given it's flaws. I would reorder them and have the same doubts/problems. I wish I could rank all three of them third.

Anyway...

01. Belle Epoque

02. O drakos

03. Bicho de Sete Cabeças
