I almost died making these choices. So I just picked two more or less at random amongst my most favorite. I discarded Westerns as half of my favorites not on lists are westerns.

By the way, anybody doing the French challenge in September needs to watch La vie de bohème and anybody doing the Noir challenge in August needs to watch the neo-noir To Live and Die in L.A.
Except you won't allow rewatches in those challenges....

Two of my favorite films that aren't on any lists. Hope no one mentioned them:
1. Tro, Håb og Kærlighed
2. Italiensk for Begyndere

This is a really hard and funny choice to make. Has to be done in a form of a statement, really.

Uma Abelha na Chuva / A Bee in the Rain (Fernando Lopes, 1972)
Torre Bela (Thomas Harlan, 1975)

As surplus
A Walk Through H: the Reincarnation of an Ornithologist (Peter Greenaway, 1978)

The pick of False Aging is now listed on IMDb fyi, noted it wasn't in the IMDb list except as a footnote to another entry
