Yes if you export your checks. Use the csv to get the IMDb links. And use IMDb list helper (which you can find in this topic somewhere) to make a list with all theses links.

Lonewolf : i took time to try your method and it worked just fine.
I had 2 problems :
1) IMDB or the list helper script is limited to 10 000 films
2) Exported URLs are https:// so at first i was wondering why my lookupV didn't catch a simple film ,)

a little over 15 000 directors excel cells filled : great stuff.

You can find out. If you add 10,000 titles this way, save the list and click edit. Then you can paste more urls to the list helper.

It's probably an IMDb-limit.

10000 is the imdb list limit, yes.

Use a second list.

Still working on my excel list...

Now that the director collum was filled i'd like to create from scratch an "french / Local name" to ease my renaming scripts and to make my life easier searching some very obscure films ...

I'll try to use 2 IMDB list and extract in english then french Locale : will let you know how it worked as this could be used in any locale i guess ... dutch, finish, german etc etc.

A quick question for people that owns a lot of films as Files ... :

Is there an easy way to batch extract the résolution (480/720/1080/2160p), audio tracks and subtitles info from a pack of files ? MKVs and DVD isos ?

This way i could easily monitor subs to be found, better resolution to search for ....

Getting the french locale title from IMDB is actually extremely difficult...

Extract from IMDB List only includes the domestic name of the Film, only the display of the list show the french title ... so you would have to copy paste the 100 film per page to paste into excel... and then there are ... alot of other problems.
Took me almost 2 hours exceling for 1/3 of the 15020 official films ...

ZzZz Time

That's awesome! Do you have any other data in the Excel file, or just the three titles?

Xcel can contain any collum that are on the ICM and IMDB export...

It also contains one collum for each official collection i considered "essential" with the rankings.
Is was usefull when i hadn't got enought time to actually check all the movies @ICm website.

Imdb is the problem. It doesn't accept special characters beyond the standard accents you would find in Germanic or Romantic languages, and will only display Latin transcripts of non-Latin alphabets. I think you used to be able to add Cyrillic or Greek letters as alternate titles, but it wouldn't let me the last time I tried. Makes it frustrating when trying to find films with diacritics like š or č or ž.

mjf314, there's something weird with filmcounter8.2. I just downloaded the lists that have been submitted so far for the documentary poll. The error-file gives me this:

Duplicate in file Carmel1379.csv at #114 and #116: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1157705/
Duplicate in file Perception de Ambiguity.csv at #186 and #336: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0432232/
Duplicate in file Smoover.csv at #19 and #23: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0196499/
Duplicate in file Smoover.csv at #51 and #68: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1286537/
Duplicate in file Smoover.csv at #52 and #68: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0386032/
Duplicate in file Smoover.csv at #53 and #68: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0379225/
Duplicate in file Smoover.csv at #76 and #95: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0094745/

Look at the dupes on Smoover's list. That doesn't make sense. How can #51 to #53 all be dupes of #68 if they have different urls? I checked manually and none of those are dupes. The other two dupes listed for Smoover are in fact dupes.

I tried it twice and got the same result twice. Here are all the list-csv-files in that folder, so you can try for yourself.
