My only one is Rigoletto (1946) - I happened to be the first to check it, too.

A very early John Ford movie! Only 26 out of 50 minutes have survived.

Not notable I guess, but I've actually seen this several times. Dutchies who were a kid at the end of the 80's might have seen it. I grew up with the music of Herman van Veen, so when a movie with him aired on television, we always watched it.

Directed by Christopher Coppola, brother of Nicolas Cage and nephew of Francis Ford Coppola. This movie stars Martin Sheen. Having talented family doesn't make you talented unfortunately......

I was surprised to see I have seen 20 films with 5 checks or less. Some are because they're not out yet (I end up adding a lot of movies this way), some are very obscure Russian movies from my childhood, some are TV movies that I saw in passing on horrible channels in the 90s and some are from a variety of smaller film festivals.

I've seen 80 films with less than five checks. Many of them are music-related.

A lot of them are shorts that I don't really remember, but a few that I liked:

King 1978 (MLK mini-series with Paul Winfield that I saw when I was a kid)

Family Band: The Cowsills Story 2011 (self-explanatory...heck, I saw this one on ordinary cable TV, so I'm surprised it doesn't have a few more checks than this)

To Norway, Home of Giants (mock travel doc with John Cleese narration)...and Cleese's "Meetings, Bloody Meetings" has three checks. And Palin/Jones' "The Box" has only two....

Love You Til Tuesday 1969 (early David Bowie promo film)

Satan Since 2003 2011 (Now this is great! A short about some modest little motorcycle gangs that takes a shocking, dark turn.)

Rotten to the Core 1965 (funny British caper comedy...and the young Charlottte Rampling has an underwear scene that will give you a heart attack)

Mellodrama 2008 (documentary about the Mellotron)

Ginger Baker in Africa (the Cream drummer on an odyssey)
Looks like I've already responded to this thread three times over the years, probably without realizing the second and third times were somewhat redundant. :)

Now I'm up to 334 films with less than five checks. About 24 of them are feature-length.

There are also 93 films where I'm the only user who has checked them. A lot of them were films that I added to IMDb myself. Check out Aldo Tambellini's stuff, OK?

1 check -- 60 films
2 checks --- 71 films
3 checks --- 55 films
4 checks --- 51 films
5 checks --- 53 films

290 films seen with 5 checks or less (that's 4.1% of my checks on iCM)

The vast majority of these are films that I saw on VHS that have never made it to the light of DVD. Some though are easily accessible online but are just too obscure to pique the interest of casual film fanatics.

1 check - 53
2 checks - 17
3 checks - 8
4 checks - 10

Mostly Canadian shorts either from the NFB or CBC's Canadian Reflections series.

Recommendations from that bunch...

A Teachable Moment (2016) - short and sweet comedic short that doesn't go where you'd expect it to from the start
Twice Upon a Time (1979) - a clever, comedic portrayal of bilingualism in Canada (surprised I'm the only check)
The Library (2015) - a sweet short story watched on Youtube recently
Atonement (1970) - a 40 min ecology documentary from NFB, the kind of thing they do well
All Aboard! The Canal Trip (2015) - this is in my favourites. BBC did a slow TV night a few years back. This is a 2 hour float down a canal in real time. I loved it.
Walking the Himalayas (2015) - I don't check TV shows, but do if they're an obviously self contained series. This is Levison Wood's 4 episode trek through the Himalayas. I'm a fan of his stuff.
Metadata (1971) - one of the first computer animated films, this is a mesmerising 9 min short from the NFB
The Awful Fate of Melpomenus Jones (1983) - an NFB animated short film of Stephen Leacock's humourous story

Checking something with less than 5 checks isn't that hard. Checking an official check with less than 5 checks is something different. I was just the third to check this one:

Stucked at an airport waiting for a delayed plane to Berlin. Watched Flucht nach Berlin. I was the second to check it. I just hope my «escape» to Berlin goes a lot smoother

I was one of only two checks on a Korean Film Archive movie on the Asian Cinema list. There are a couple of others on official lists with 5 checks or less that I have checked.

Makes sense, I have invested far more effort into that list than anyone else (excluding JCS), more effort than is worthwhile even.
