Lost 4 Platinums because of Incredibles 2. Guess thing will be back to normal in november or so.

10 lists completed (Adventure, AFI's 100 years...100 thrills, Amanda, Best Cartoons Ever, Animation, Drama, FilmTotaal, icm - Most Checked, Fantasy, 1980s, Sci-fi), so from 11-20:

02 (co) #036 (#001) Adventure (98%)
03 (co) #038 (#001) Animation (98%)

09 (05) #104 (#104) 100 Animated Feature Films (BFI Screen Guides) (79%)
10 (07) #143 (#178) Family (94%)

Lost the plat in Reddit top 250 and Sci-fi
Gained plat in Action

Still holding plats in FilmTotaal top 100 and Thriller

A few platinums since, but imdb lists are still on top.

Platinum in Sci-fi, Reddit top 250, FilmTotaal top 100 and Thriller. Had Platinum in action a week ago, but I lost it again. It's the same movie that was the one left almost a year ago  . I saw a lot of old movies on the Rotten Tomatoes list, but last week it had a big update with a lot of 2017 movies still unavailable to me.

Non-IMDb lists are
Rotten Tomatoes (403)
Amanda (951), Cine.gr (961)
African Cinema (1380)
FOK! top 250 (1481)
100 Korean Masterpieces (1709)
Best Romanian films (1765)
100 Korean Films (1798)
100 Animated (BFI) (2355)
Movie Sense 101 ( 2391)
Ariel Award (2416)
v1
Spoiler: click to toggleShow
Starting with the most accessible lists

Having an Offical LGBTIQ+ Challenge has given me the extra motivation to see a few more queer films and hey presto - a new top ten ranked list. :D

First time that I'm inside the top 100 users for six lists too.

3 Platinums (AFI's 100 years, 100 movies, Reddit Top 250, icheckmovies most checked), then:

1. Best of Rotten Tomatoes (#145, 98/100)
2. Sci-fi (#170, 48/50)
3. FESPACO - Etalon de Yennenga (#301, 1/23)
4. Family (#376, 43/50)
5. Action (#469, 45/50)
6. Fantasy (#488, 43/50)
7. Adventure (#496, 46/50)
8. 2010s (#518, 43/50)
9. Sport (#525, 25/50)
10. Musical (#586, 37/50)

Best of Rotten Tomatoes and Sport are the only two that I've actively been working on lately (Rotten Tomatoes will be platinum soon, and Sport I wanted bronze). FESPACO is the result of another goal of mine to watch at least one movie on every official list. The others just happened along the way and I probably won't be focusing on them specifically any time soon. But I will pick up random entries as I try to focus on movies that appear on lots of official lists.

Gained back the lost ones after Incredibles 2. But lost Drama today because of 3 Idiots, so it's always something....

13 lists completed (Action, Adventure, AFI's 100 years...100 thrills, Amanda, Animation, Best Cartoons Ever, Fantasy, FilmTotaal, 50 Greatest Sequels, icm - Most Checked, Musical, 1980s, Sci-fi), so from 14-23:
01 (01) #032 (#032) All Time Box Office (99%)
02 (06) #058 (#058) Guldbagge Award (51%)
03 (10) #059 (#143) Family (96%)
04 (---) #069 (------) BFI Flare's Best LGBT Films of All Time (65%) I think there has been a challenge this month...
05 (07) #075 (#074) FLM's Best Swedish Films of All Time (36%)
06 (04) #076 (#076) Top 100 Animated Features of All Time (92%)
07 (co) #095 (#001) Drama (98%)
08 (09) #104 (#104) 100 Animated Feature Films (BFI Screen Guides) (79%)
09 (---) #147 (------) Bodil Award Winners for Best Danish Film (22%)
10 (---) #155 (------) Comedy (92%)

Percentage
01 (01) 99% All Time Box Office
02 (co) 98% Drama
03 (06) 97% AFI's 100 years...100 movies
04 (---) 96% Family

4 Platinums (added Best of Rotten Tomatoes to go with AFI's 100 years, 100 movies, Reddit Top 250, icheckmovies most checked), then:

1. Sci-fi - (#290, 48/50)
2. FESPACO - Etalon de Yennenga (#303, 1/23)
3. 2010s - (#512, 44/50)
4. Family - (#537, 41/50)
5. Mystery - (#553, 47/50)
6. Adventure - (#584, 45/50)
7. Sport - (#590, 23/50)
8. Top 250 - (#598, 236/250)
9. BAFTA - Best Film - (#776, 56/72)
10. Fantasy - (#840, 40/50)

The IMDB updates really kicked me around this month. I'm kinda salty that I lost the Sport award right after I made a push to get bronze. On the other hand, I'm happy that I have a new non-IMDB list moving into my top 10 (BAFTA), because those lists are just more fun to track since they don't change constantly.

Order is much the same except for an ascension in Canada and BFI Flare (thanks to competing in on-topic Official Challenges).

Might as well post here while the thread has been bumped. I did post an update here fairly recently, but things have changed in the last two weeks and I'm now inside the top 100 for eight lists thanks to the Ain't Blues update.

4 Platinums (added Best of Rotten Tomatoes to go with AFI's 100 years, 100 movies, Reddit Top 250, icheckmovies most checked), then:

1. Sci-fi - (#290, 48/50)
2. FESPACO - Etalon de Yennenga (#303, 1/23)
3. 2010s - (#512, 44/50)
4. Family - (#537, 41/50)
5. Mystery - (#553, 47/50)
6. Adventure - (#584, 45/50)
7. Sport - (#590, 23/50)
8. Top 250 - (#598, 236/250)
9. BAFTA - Best Film - (#776, 56/72)
10. Fantasy - (#840, 40/50)

The IMDB updates really kicked me around this month. I'm kinda salty that I lost the Sport award right after I made a push to get bronze. On the other hand, I'm happy that I have a new non-IMDB list moving into my top 10 (BAFTA), because those lists are just more fun to track since they don't change constantly.
I lost and then regained Best of Rotten Tomatoes since my last update. So I still have 4 platinums, and then the following:

1. FESPACO - Etalon de Yennenga (#306, 1/23)
2. Sci-fi (#377, 48/50)
3. Mystery (#437, 48/50)
4. Adventure (#477, 45/50
5. Sport (#520, 24/50)
6. 2010s (#523, 43/50)
7. Fantasy (#565, 39/50)
8. Family (#606, 40/50)
9. Top 250 (#656, 233/250)
10. BAFTA - Best Film (#711, 57/72)

I could definitely move Mystery to platinum--but I'm sure I'd lose it again with the next imdb batch update

Might as well post here while the thread has been bumped. I'm now inside the top 100 for nine lists for the very first time.

My #12 on the AU list (thanks to additional watches during the Official Challenge) is also the highest that I have ever been ranked on a list. ^_^

I was thinking, No platinum? Then I saw your profile. "Trying to see how high I can get with out platinums" seems like a fun experiment, but, waaay too late for me. I've accumulated a few.

Picked up a few more platinums this past month, up to 59.

Afterwards, it's pretty much still the same.

1. AA Best picture nominees 554/557 5th
2. AA Foreign nominees 219/322 20th
3. Golden Lotus 10/65 32nd
4. 101 War 90/101 44th
5. Iran 36/121 46th
6. Sport 40/50 49th
7. FESPACO 10/24 53rd
8. 100 World Cinema 104/105 54th
9. Locarno 19/87 55th
10. 100 Spiritually Significant 96/105 58th

So, one change.. Romanian out (12th place behind UNESCO) and Locarno in.

Heh. tehe When I first registered on iCM (early 2017), I found myself with a bunch of Bronze and Silver awards but only one Gold (AFI Thrills) despite having been actively into films for 15 years. Since then I have kind of unavoidably picked up a couple more Gold AFI awards, but original goal was to see how high I could rise without any Platinum awards and only one Gold.

I am sure that I will pick up some more Gold Award along the way, but given that the lists that I am most interested in are among the hardest to complete (TSZDT, 366W, 500<400 etc), I'm probably pretty safe to stay Platinum free unless something totally unexpected and really up my alleyway gets adopted.

By the way, your top-ranked non-Platinum list -- AA BP Nominees -- is among the lists that I am most interested in working on. I'm only 12 films away from a Silver award (which probably rank me in the top 250 for the list) and I'm hoping to make that up by crushing my unseen nominated films during the 1950s Challenge.

That list was actually how I found iCM. I was working on it, and Googled something like "how many best picture nominees have you seen" and found a forum (not this one) that was basically having an ongoing challenge to complete it, and they had linked to it. By the time I joined, I'd already seen about 3/4 of the list, and as a matter of fact, if you look at my checks in reverse order, I started with that list. A fun journey I've been on ever since. LOL.
