So you are "cobac"? I did not know this. But you're not really "dark," because I think "dark" implies you've taken yourself out of the rankings.

I thought making the checks not public usually did it... hmmmm.

Making checks non-public will take you out of rankings. I guess it doesn't take effect until next update of rankings (daily?)

Why? Are you planning to dig a tunnel to the next page to get there without being seen?

The top 1-25 Page you mean ?

It would take me years to watch the 850 official check gap i have to join the top 25. Especialy as i have a few short left to hunt/watch and theses are ... long short, already watched all the shortest ;). Not to mention i have a little over 100 films (on 4 lists mainly) on my to watch directory...

I'll be back when i'll catch up my backlog or unchecked thoses movies if i can't finish the directory during my hollyday.

Top 25 is possible in some years after i retire !!

Let's see if I can:
He'll be back from the dark side when he watches everything he has checked, but if he fails to do so during the holiday, he'll uncheck the ones he hasn't seen? idk, sounds like something I did when I had time to watch a lot of movies.

Huh? People Might Be Checking Movies They Haven’t Actually Seen?

You know there is a watchlist button, Tim?

Nah, "checking movies you plan to see in the near future" is still one of the most stupid ways to use iCM in my opinion. :hmph:

I eventually plan to watch every official check, so maybe I should just check them all now.

WTF is this logic?

There are multiple ways to make lists of stuff you plan to watch on ICM. Pre-checking them is the worst possible way.

In fact... just tried it : until now didn't know i could use that that easily and usefullly.

That doesn't really change my way of renaming/sorting/exceling film collection.

and a violation of the ToU
Furthermore, one must only check movies one has seen. We realize that it is impossible to exactly quantify "seen," but it does not include not having seen a movie at all or only having seen shorts clips (like trailers).

I tried to use the "Owned" feature when i first joined ICM in the start of 2018.

Most of my first IMDB Top250 are both checked & owned.

I remeber havinf trouble setting the owned status on films, even more difficult than checking the film (sometimes i have to reload the page for the check to be possible).
It was then i decided to use the Check feature only.

Seems to work better now ... maybe because the hardware/software behind the site improved... of that i have an better Fiber connection.

It's usable !
