Thanks. And you're saying that that Hollywood Follies should be the official check, or the recut 1995 final episode should be the official check? (this one: https://www.imdb.com/title/tt9740398/?ref_=ttep_ep7 )
No. I don't know if it should be 1 episode vs the whole series that should be official. I also think it should remain with Young Indy, if only because it's the more "common" version, with significantly more votes than the other (or any individual episode). It's also the original version.

Added the November releases for MoC, containing one movie by Paul Leni and three by Ishirō Honda. Fans of Japanese kaiju can really rejoice these days, after Criterion's Godzilla box and Arrow's Gamera, Eureka now is releasing Mothra on blu-ray.

Das Wachsfigurenkabinett [Waxworks] (1924)
Mosura [Mothra] (1961)
Bijo to ekitai ningen [The H-Man] (1958)
Uchû sai sensô [Battle in Outer Space] (1959)
Time to sing the Mothra anthem.. :worship:
Thanks for the info!

It should be Criterion if it has a spine number, as far as I know, that box set does not have one (but some of the movies in it do, separately).
(A lot of movies have the criterion logo somewhere on a cover but still aren't criterion or are on the criterion channel and that may be the reason for the logo at the begining)

Looking forward to Hu Guan's latest. Talented director who can handle big budgets. Not a big fan of (Chinese) war films, but I'm definitely willing to give it a try.

😭You mean I suffered through 'enjoyed' that D&D sequel and lost the much deserved check less than three weeks later. Oh, the cruel irony! 😭

And even worse, I didn't locate the two Chinese films in my usual channels - or are the Feds arresting people for watching Chinese movies yet?

Guan's is still in cinemas I think. It's opening in the UK later this month if you really (really) want to watch it.

Wu Sha is the chinese remake of the indian Drishyam that stubbornly keeps popping in the :imdb: top250 which is also a remake of Drishyam in b4 you go "where I've seen this before" provided you've seen those movies.

Let's see, no passport and a general unwillingness to fly, so while good to know, can't see that happening.

We've no idea when cinemas will reopen here - latest word is probably not until 2021, so :whistling: , but in general I don't even search for Chinese movies from 2019 & 2020 since it takes a bit longer for those that get picked up by the libraries to make it here.

September Challenge: Image
But at the bottom, the immanent philosopher sees in the entire universe only the deepest longing for absolute annihilation, and it is as if he clearly hears the call that permeates all spheres of heaven: Redemption! Redemption! Death to our life! and the comforting answer: you will all find annihilation and be redeemed!
