Climbed up massively in the Official ranks over the last three months, but have only edged slightly ahead in the total check ratings.
Makes sense, I guess, given that something like 95% of the films that I watch are Official these days.![]()

Now I'm down to 50.87% official checks. If my next 168 checks were all unofficial, I'd hit the 50% threshold.
You win the Movie Baby award!
I'm curious where i'll be at in 10 years... My parents were never into movies, so i haven't seen a lot of movies until i was 18 years old (maybe 50 at most?). Since than i have seen 700 movies, and i'm now 22,5 years old. I regret that i didn't saw as many movies when i was younger, and was even a bit prejudiced to it, but anyway.
Ditto, except I was 33. I mostly saw mainstream stuff, which does tend to accumulate over a few decades. And while I don't have my initial rankings stored, at the end of 2016, after working on these lists for 6+ months, I had skyrocketed up the rankings to #8366, with 914 official list checks.Fergenaprido wrote: ↑August 6th, 2018, 8:07 am Lakigigar: Don't fret about that. I didn't become serious into film until after I was 30. I hit 1000 films in 2013, and this year I'll be hitting over 2500. I don't think it's an issue that you didn't see a lot of films when you were younger; you're opinion of them would probably have changed over time anyway, or you may not have been able to appreciate some of them when you were a kid/teen.
Damn... that'd put you high up on the front page.
Oh - so now you're calling me out for checking episodes?

Ah, you're going to be working on improving this now?
Haha, by watching tons of shorts? No, thanks. I won't give you a competition again (at least for a while).

Just seen this. I have more films logged on Lbxd than ICM so nope, that's not it. I think it's some rogue TV entries imported from my IMDB ratings being allocated to random films with the same title. I found a few of those already, but where are the otheeeerrrrs (whiny voice). I don't care if the number goes down, I want it to be accurate!Fergenaprido wrote: ↑August 6th, 2018, 8:07 am Flaiky: There are a number of films on icm that aren't on Letterboxd, so that's probably where the discrepancy is. I have 11 feature-length films on icm that aren't on Letterboxd yet. I don't use LB for shorts, but I suspect the number would be much higher if I included those.
