Went from: 34.84% -> 35.52% -> 35.14% > 35.17% official checks.

Pretty much all full-length movies. Number of shorts checked is marginal, TV stuff negligible.

68.78% official checks, will probably decrease this month (<400 checks challenge), than increase again for the next years (since i will be watching some movies i should have seen already, than i will probably slowly decrease that difference in ratio again, because i will probably never become an official checks list hunter.)

For awhile, my two ranks were practically equal. But now I may have my widest gap since my initial ICM months. I'm #100 for total checks...but only #126 for official checks.

I think I'm in an irreversible death spiral now.

#127 for official checks, #99 for total checks.

I suspect there's no way I can pass anyone at this point, unless they've completely abandoned the site and I slowly creep up on them.

Ha, thanks for bringing up that thread. I knew I made a statement about my non-checking somewhere on the forum:
Torgo wrote: December 28th, 2013, 1:53 am Official: #266 (2595 checks)
Unofficial: #918 (2761 checks)

Doesn't make much sense though because I never checked movies which aren't on any official list (even not for my iCM favorites, which may look odd). I could compare with IMDb, but there again I don't rate shorts. <_<
One thing is for sure: If I had to guess, I'd say my quota of official list films has gone from ~50-60% to ~85% (2013-movies already included). I don't find much time to watch movies aside from the (iCM-)canon anymore, which is a bit sad. Don't let the lists consume you, guys! :o

[edit]#461 in an unofficial ranking, based on 3669 IMDb ratings.
This was 2013, though. I can actually remember how extremely satisfying it was to manually check off all these new official films when a list was adopted. :$ Those were the days, I tell ya!
After adoptions became too common and regular, I had to give up on my policy. The risk of overlooking some check somewhere became too overwhelming. :pinch:

Conclusion: My official quota on ICM was at a staggering 93,99% in December 2013, although crosschecked with my IMDb ratings it looked to be like 70,73%.

Today we have:
Rank #340 with 3859 official checks
Rank #556 with 5623 checks altogether
-> 68,63% quota

I have checked 126 TV Series, but no episodes.

I used to check TV series even if I had seen only a few episodes (for which I have been reprimanded once). A couple of years ago I unchecked those. I still don't check TV episodes or music videos.

Overall: 976 (4435)

I only check movies generally, and the few shorts I've watched (though I'm not a big short watcher. This is mostly popular Looney Tunes ones, Pixar, Disney, a few one offs) I've checked a couple of TV shows that are on an official list but that's it for those. I've check mini-series on official lists too but not looked beyond that and I certainly haven't bothered with individual TV episodes.
