Same here.
I logged out and looked at the front page, and no one seems to have checked anything in the last ~48 minutes.

Also unable to dislike something, and I really wanna do this for the trash film The Pride of the Yankees.

You got something against Lou Gehrig? Or is it Gary Cooper that you hate?

Unfortunately the fix we've implemented yesterday isn't enough to keep the site running. We're working on it..

The site is back up for now. More work has to be done to restore redundancy, but I have to go to Amsterdam to do that (servers are located there).

Check chasing? You probably knew it was a sappy, shallow biopic going in to it. I mean, it doesn't try to hide it.

Indeed. Going back to last year's goal of reaching the top 25 of every country list. Instead of playing with my strengths and doing the highest ranked lists first I'm doing the lowest which means The Dutch Top 50 and the AFI lists.

Well, based purely on your username, I would have guessed you wouldn't have cared all that much, and even if you did, there would be several reasonable activities with which you could occupy your time... :whistling:

Hrm. Seems like kind of a snub for the site's current placeholder page to suggest going to *Reddit* for movie discussion but not here.

Icheckmovies has two placeholders, one (which was there yesterday) has a link here, but the other one doesn't. Not sure why there are two or what causes each to be triggered.

reddit sucks generally speaking, but there are a few great subreddits that collect weird, esoteric things neatly in one spot.

on the one hand, i may be talking about porn. on the other hand, i'm definitely talking about porn.

but i do sincerely like that places like r/rustyrails exist. sometimes a man just wants to gaze at a graffitied railroad tunnel that's become overgrown with weeds and shit.

yeah, no luck, I've now tried Chrome, Firefox, and even IE. I could log in to v2 on Chrome and IE, but my check isn't recorded. I can't get past the login screen on v3 in any browser no matter how many times I try.

I couldn't log on last night. It's obviously related to the database issues we've seen over the last day or so. I don't think it'll get much better until Marijn gets to Amsterdam (where the servers are located) to fix it, whatever the problem is.

It's possible that the temporary measures aren't sufficient to keep things going. I'm not clear on what the issue is, but it sounds like it might be failing hardware (hard drives?).
