SO i found 3 more lists of at least 20 TT films
https://www.pastemagazine.com/movies/th ... f-alltime/
https://www.gamespot.com/gallery/the-24 ... 2900-2565/
https://screenrant.com/best-time-travel ... -all-time/

I have to add at least one of these to ICM. Is Paste the one?
All of the relevant, non-Austin Powers movies featured are probably already on the list of lists so it'll just be there for representation.

Best Croatian films, voted by 38 critics in 2020.

This article only has the top 10, but apparently there's also a top 100. Can anyone find the top 100?

I think Mario's our best bet and finding more on this. I'm super interested in this though. I found this article which names a few others outside the Top 10: https://www.jutarnji.hr/kultura/film-i- ... i-15033381 and this one too: https://www.matica.hr/vijenac/699%20-%2 ... lma-31140/

Okay, found one that mentions full Top 20s: https://radiogornjigrad.wordpress.com/2 ... tografije/ Films #9 and #10 from the last poll have fallen out of the Top 20 this time.

Seems like the two versions on icm are both of the 1999 poll, but there was also an earlier poll in 1989/1990. I'd be interested in finding more about that one too.

I've added a temporary placeholder list for all the films mentioned thus far: https://www.icheckmovies.com/lists/hrva ... genaprido/

Looks like a bunch of English titles and corrected release dates need to be added to imdb, based on the article.

Is this PUNQ or his brother from another mother?
https://filmsbytheyear.com/chronological-list-of-films/
Anyway this can easily be converted into Old movies available on YouTube - ongoing list part 1 ... 13 ...

now that I looked into it, he doesn't link IMDb most of the time but rather a better source so that's a bummer.

Yeah I noticed they don't correct for rankings, use VERY weak lists and it's kinda sloppy but at least the lists of sources are useful.

One of the lists comes out very funny with only 4 films ranked in the main list and like a hundred more listed on 1 list, most coming from wikipedia.

...btw i finally added some scifi anime lists and also used MJF's tags for the top 100 of his meta list on Reddit to add more scifi. over 1500 titles now. the forum list only got up to 1000

Jonathan Rosenbaum Polls 29 British Filmpersons

It's a poll from 1976, but I hadn't seen it before. He asked each person to provide him with two lists, "twelve film titles and six texts or authors relevant to cinema."

someone should add that corpocrime list!

added steampunk anime lists
added that steampunk list made of 28 lists
then added 3 more inclusive lists and the anime lists to it
wound up with 270 titles
150 to-watch (how many of them not-bad tho?)
he or A. or Armo or any

100 Essential Indian Films

This is a book from 2018.
There you go: Rohit K. Dasgupta & Sangeeta Datta's 100 Essential Indian Films

I'm just waiting for ICM to import one movie then I'll update it.

You know, if you add the movie by IMDB URL, you don't have to wait on the site to index it.

Not sure if this is a right place to post this, as it is a personal list... but it was the best I could find:

I just made
https://www.icheckmovies.com/lists/new+ ... ee/beavis/

A list that covers an interesting time from the late 50's to the early 80's with the high point in 1974, parallel to the global new wave but with a focus that found most fertile ground in Italy: that of transgressive social criticism and comedy. So, for those interested in Italian cinema, erotica, new wave and psychedelica, and the best of all the weird movies associated with that. (let's make it official ;))

sounds like "subversive" should be in the title

That could also fit. Because the bounderies broken here are mostly personal rather than political, i chose transgression, but you get the idea

I mentioned a while back in another thread that I maintained a cross-reference list of queer films. Mighty expressed interest in seeing it, so I've finally added it to Google Spreadsheets, and it's been updated with all of the latest data from earlier this month. I'm not planning to add it to icm, as I'm more interested in which lists a film is on, as opposed to the number of points it has. I'll probably update the Google Spreadsheet once or twice a year.

I maintain a similarly-structured list for Canadian films, but I have to finish adding a lot more films from awards lists before it's ready to share. I'll upload it to the same document though.

I really dug the Worldweird Cinema list on ICM but it was pointed out to me that the list is very incomplete based on the original source, so I created a new version that's three times as long and full of amazing-looking weird films from around the world:

Thanks!
Seen 133/334, it's a lovely corner of cinema to explore. And another one of those (genre) gaps on icm that could be filled with an official list (there was some positive response to this idea from the list mods there, but it was never talked about in a concrete way, this niche being very... niche and all ;))

This looks fantastic!
And definitely "off" enough. I am embarrassed to remain at 29 checks only, with many standing on my weirdo watchlists for so long. A lot of those I've seen are truly bizarre.
What is it sorted after? Not regions apparently. Themes or another sort of chapters?

That WorldWeird list is groovy. I'm surprised/embarrassed that I've only seen 31 of those. But then I skimmed the list and saw it's mostly horror and exploitation films. So that explains my paltry tally. Bookmarking it anyway. :)

This is actually an old article, but it was originally a top 10, and they've been gradually expanding it.
