Film of the Week #178: The Incident (1967)

Image

Summary:
Stark melodrama about two thrill seeking tough guys who terrorize late-night passengers on a New York City train. The random victims are more concerned with their own problems than helping each other and pray that they won't be next. But it's going to take a lot more than prayer to end this nightmare of fear and violence.

I think bal3x made me watch it as well. It wasn't an official check then. He did a good job promoting it.

not an easy watch, especially given what happened on a train very close to home a couple days ago -- too bad real life doesn't end like the movies

It's painful to watch, so that must mean they did something right.

IDK, don't feel like talking about this one much. Sorry.

Pretty tough watch about human behaviour and social relationships in a pressure situation. Definitely the kind of film that belongs on 500<400 as it's one that seems to have got very little notice.

This check put me up to 400/500<400 :)
