As an associate producer in the film world, I feel above such petty arguments.
Oh great, now I am not sure who to list first.

alphabetically by surname

That is the logical choice, but I could also have the text flip so that one of you is listed first and then the other is listed first.mightysparks on Jul 29 2013, 05:09:14 PM wrote:alphabetically by surname
Alphabetical by first name.
Either that or the text flip thing.

Surname. Always surname. Only losers do it by first name

Lauren, I feel that we have creative differences and may have to part ways after our first production. I think that you are only in it for the recognition whereas it should be about Allison's work. Disappointing.

I am so proud of Allison's work and see so much potential, I want to be known for my part in this and so yes, I would like people to recognise that I helped her create this magnificent work of art. I feel that you don't care enough and think of this as only a game.

ps i am not insulting you allison or your yet to be completed work. this is just a fictional argument between myself and your #2 associate producer

All joking aside, hope this goes well and I think it will. Glad we could contribute to it being made.
Thanks, me too!

That's great news! Glad to hear you're in the home stretch. If you encounter any unforeseen expenses or need some emergency funding this weekend let us know. I'm sure your team of producers will be able to help you out in a pinch!allisoncm on Jul 29 2013, 04:07:39 PM wrote:Update:
Now I'm thinking the thesis will be about 100-120 pages. My goal is to finish by the third week of August. I am filming the media supplement this upcoming Sunday. Between finishing the writing and editing the film, I'm sure it will take up all my time. So I'm looking forward to resuming my filmwatching practices in September (hopefully)!
Thanks. Truthfully, I am about $52 short. After Amazon took their cut, I only received $448 and the final product is going to cost $500, not including the food I'm bringing for the cast & crew. If anyone wants to contribute by paypal, PM me and I'll send them my info. However, I definitely do want to mention that I am extremely appreciative of everyone who contributed thus far. Otherwise everything would have come out of my pocket (and I would have no executive & associate producer credits!). Seriously, the list of everyone who contributed is impressive and will be included in my thesis in addition to the film.Leopardi on Jul 29 2013, 08:18:26 PM wrote:That's great news! The project was filmed today!! Now onto editing. Thank you everyone for your continued support.
I also created a listing for the film, so associate producers should see their name in lights soon. If all the credits aren't on there at first, they will be added later.

What is the name of the film, btw?
Films Directed by Women in the Silent Era
I just kept it simple.
Here are a couple pics. One is with me with most of the crew. And one is with Harmony, the actress.

Aw man, I IMDb'd it: http://www.imdb.com/find?q=Films+Direct ... Silent+Era
And then got an error. I MUST HAVE MY IMDB PROFILE.

In order to add the film, you must have several credits. I uploaded the film with a bunch of credits, but they don't seem to be showing. The film is showing at least now (I clicked on your link)?mightysparks on Aug 6 2013, 04:17:18 PM wrote:Aw man, I IMDb'd it: http://www.imdb.com/find?q=Films+Direct ... Silent+Era

Must be my film.

The way I was checking was I kept clicking on my name. Did so earlier today and nothing showed up.

I can only see it in search results, I can't actually see the film listing. It better get on there! Fecking Privacy is on IMDb and there's no way this is going to be worse/less acceptable than Privacy!
I got an error when trying to update:
"tt3100286' is invalid

The page for the film is displaying but there aren't any credits yet.

We will have to find more films to produce after this one. Then our own production company. The sky is the limit.

Haha, it perfectly sums up that 'yas' feeling. I didn't make any of the smilies but they were all made on the football forum. Pretty sure that one comes from this goal celebration (especially at 1:22-1:30):

It's showing now, but no credits
I had a dream last night that it finally showed up, but Adam's last name was 'Demon' and was listed above me in the credits
PS He begged me to be Member #1 on the forum and therefore I deserve to be first now

Is it easy to add credits? I know that Harmony is already on IMDb so should be easy to add her to the film.

The best production company, indeed.
