Well, there's an obscure prog group called "Fuchsia", taking their name from one of the main characters of Meryvn Peake's Gormenghast books - also a favorite of Robert Smith of the Cure. Their first album is also called Fuchsia but I don't think any of the songs have that name. Had a friend who was obsessed with The Cure and with Gormenghast and I think she had their stuff on vinyl - I see a couple of other songs with the word in them on YT but nothing I'd heard of before. I'm sure just about every color has had at least one song with the word in the title but if you have to google it, kind of defeats the purpose unless the purpose is "link the most obscure songs ever that you'd never heard of yourself until I posted this thread".

I knew Blue Bayou as a Roy Orbison song. I'd never heard this Linda Ronstadt version, but it's great.

And now, to close the category, the granddaddy of all "blue" songs:

Best drummer at the moment is Baard Kolstad. Let's post something from the latest album, but I could post a lot more (as you all know....).

Live version:

But it's hard to see his performance here, so here is....

From the great documentary A Drummer's Dream, here's Mike Mangini demonstrating his fast hands.

Great might be something of an overstatement, but I have a soft spot for this link-up at the AVN'S involving a hoola-hooping Remy Lacroix and a bad-ass Machine Gun Kelly. (There's a viewer and listener warning for this one, obviously...)

That's all, folks!

Great clip by Mike Mangini. He's doing things there that most drummers wouldn't be able to with eight hands.
