Today will be a sort of honourable mention. These 2 albums would have made my list had I started it later. I just don't know what rank they should be on yet. Tomorrow will be #2 and #1.

HM. Bladee - Icedancer (2018)
Trap/Cloud/Emo Rap
Image
HM. Ansome - Hounds of the Harbor (2019)
Industrial Techno

1. The Caretaker - Everywhere at the End of Time (2019)
(Dark) Ambient, Turntable Music, Sound Collage, British Dance Band, Glitch, Noise, Drone
Also my #1 of all time, but I'd rather you not listen to it. It's a concept album about dementia, and the samples of 20s and 30s british dance band music and jazz represents memories. They slowly become more and more distorted and chaotic.

To say this fucked me up emotionally is an understatement. This made me sob, gave me panic attacks, and even strong suicidal thoughts. There were times where I was just lying on my bed completely isolated listening to this. I will show how one of the song keeps progressing throughout the stages. However, they are just the first 3 stages. The last 3 stages are the sounds of hell itself.

I don't think I could listen to this again, but it forever changed me.

If you do plan on listening to this I'd recommend first hearing A Stairway to the Stars and An Empty Bliss Beyond This World as he uses samples from those albums. It makes it much more effective.

whom shall we find
Sufficient? who shall tempt with wand’ring feet
The dark unbottom’d infinite Abyss,
And through the palpable obscure find out
His uncouth way, or spread his aerie flight,
Upborn with indefatigable wings,
Over the vast abrupt, ere he arrive
The happy Ile?

Well here he is skidded out onto the Zone like a planchette on a Ouija board, and what shows up inside the empty circle in his brain might string together into a message, might not, he'll just have to see.

Nur dein Auge – ungeheuer / Blickt michs an, Unendlichkeit!
