But one that deserves a shout-out for its meme-status and quality video is:




Worth adding to this thread is the "Mandela Effect" with respect to Queens' 'We Are The Champions' which many people think officially ends with "of the world", but was something Freddie Mercury added on a concert and somehow stuck on.

Queen sings Of the world in the middle of the song, but it does seem to be missing from the ending as if Freddie expects the listener to karaoke it for him. Or maybe it's for the best he doesnt say it.

"Sempiternal" is an archaic English word denoting the concept of "everlasting time" that can never actually come to pass.[5] It stems from the Latin word "sempiternus" (a concatenation of root "semper" and suffix "aeternum")."

An obscure word they popularised by choosing that as one of their album's name to be cool and edgy. 'Shadow Moses' is in the middle of the album and in the middle of that song he screams what you hear in the video, so there's some sense to it.

I didn't want to listen to it again. I've been reminded of this when I was at some Pirate Festival and in-between two bands they played that one softly, so when it ended you could hear half the crowd muffling "of the world", quite funnily.

I would nominate Smash Mouth's 'All Star' to be the most overplayed catchy anthem of rock. Whenever it comes on the playlist at any gathering of rock fans, everyone becomes animated and ready to stand-up and sing the lyrics, which is fairly annoying for me - I don't have any nostalgia for it.

The Doors' 'Riders on the Storm' has a line which is either
'if you give this man a ride / sweet family will die'
or
'if you give this man a ride / sweet memory will die'
both of which make sense in the flow of the lyrics. Lyrics sites are unsure about it, some list the former, some the latter.
